we are discussing different type of contests here. Apple to orange comarison. FG and II never claimed to be singing show only. Rules were laid out from the get go what they were looking for in the winner. So let us not knock down anyone's winning. They won their titles fair & square with their talents, originality & determination. So Let Qazi and Abhijit enjoy their winning titles.

Now SRGMP is all about singing atleast that is what most of us understood. Gajendra Singh has not set ground rules, guidelines for this contest on what exactly they are judging contestants on. The way I understood is they are looking for Playback singers not performers. This is the reason lots of us are having problem with these contestants dancing, wearing outfits which some of them are not even comfortable in & having to perform besides singing. So I would not even compare SRGMP with the other shows. Lots of us would love SRGMP go back to original values what the name of the show is named after & based on. My opinion only.

Entirely correct!... People voted for Qazi and Abhijeet because the people liked what he had to offer. They believed he had the right qualities to be a winner for that show.

People will do the same for SRGMP. Their idea of a winner may not be the same as yours. Get over it, vote for whoever you would like to win and stop whining about everything that doesn't go your way. (This post is not meant for anyone in particular)

discussing the format - only one singer [female/male] going out every week

means if a female goes out week1 then the next week ALL females will be SAFE whatever they might sing ? as they know a guy is going to go out ??

certainly not fair to us viewers, as everyone may not try to put their best if they arent competing but just participating... 🤔

ook guys time for some gyan...mohd. rafi..OP Nayyar(hes alive ), Rd burman and scores of similar talented men were jobless when they breathed their last and that too when likes of bappi..nadeem shravan and anand milind were ruling the roost.

when kishore started singing ashok kumar discouraged him saying that he better stick to acting which is his core competence.....

annd whos better ? manna dey or kishore..and who was more sucessful..

the idea is simple, shiv - hari your so called judges choose kishore kumar for silsila and not some manna dey .

be it saregama or FG they bring only those who can fetch more votes home..remember each vote costs rs.6 and its a revenue sharing busines

so just be fair to yourself..and like rehman puts it ..."close your eyes and listen...if u smile then what u heard was good 😊"
