It's not that the show has lost its charm, but rather Sony is finding it weird to promote such a show. See they were regularly posting precaps and promos until Rudra and Maya got married. Because until that point it was still "less weird" if that's the right way to describe it. Now though, the show has moved into unexplored realms and Sony doesn't know how to react to it.

Thats a bad excuse on Sony's part. They knew what they signed up for. Also, they should be proud that they are showing different contents and not all the nonsense dragfest that goes on in other shows.

It is a bad excuse, but for them it is an excuse nonetheless. They tried pulling the show off air, but that failed. So now they just won't promote it. That'll give them an excuse to use any of the new shows to replace Beyhadh 2 early. They'll just say the show wasn't giving TRP. Problem resolved.

Even if it’s finite, the channel still needs to promote the show.

I agree that B2 is not up to the level of B1 but it’s not like the latter was a masterpiece either. It had so many flaws and loopholes and was unnecessarily stretched. Personally I don’t think Beyhadh is the best thriller show. Ek Hasina thi and Paanch were far better in terms of the plot and it’s execution. Plus those shows didn’t depend on the lead’s actresses popularity to sell their shows.

There were numerous billboards of EDKV in my city. But now B2 is not being promoted while other shows are being heavily promoted. Sony can say anythin but this is pure discrimination, step motherly treatment to B2 despite them signing up for the show voluntarily.

EDKV is a new show, Beyhadh had billboard cutouts too when it started, there isn't a single EDKV cutout in my city. Beyhadh is an expensive show with 0.4 TRP, where lead actress is paid around 100k, Sony wants to shut the shop as soon as possible because 0.4 is definitely not a profit, they have increased advertisement in episode to earn as much as possible

That's true, they just want to end it asap.
