Getting Kat for an item number can ensure big hype and buzz for opening weekend. It also puts Kat in SLB’s good books. I’m surprised Alia agreed to share credit here should the movie become a hit or at least opens big.

I don't think Alia has any say in what SLB does. Stories said Alia is not going to have any songs or dance in the movie. I don't think Kat was the first choice for SLB. I bet you Deepika said no.
