Why? Just curious

I’m just curious why people are going cray to save this show ?

When the show first started I really liked it as it was funny and light hearted

however the writers ruined the show and even made it worse post leap...like who are these writers ?? They ruined a fun unique show and then couldn’t even do better post leap! They must have cereal box degrees

considering this show has been kind of ruined why does everyone want to save it ?

it’s an honest question cause I’ve seen so many posts here saying how the show has lost its logic and essentially gone to hell

Honestly I just think it’s the love for the actors that’s why ppl are desperate to save the show. But many don’t realise is that if it gets an extension, the show will get ruined even more. That’s why I said it’s better for KHKT to get a proper closure than to carry on with more illogical tracks.

I wish ITV fandoms came together and demanded for better content and limited episode shows instead of requesting extensions for their fav show.

It went worse just recently Imo . I think the main reason is the trps coz unlike kulfi (which had slot change and eventually it was shut ) , khkt never had high trps.. but yes they were consistent in the range of 1.6-1.8 . So may be it was the last desperate attempt by the makers to revive it or give it a push . Guess it backfired bec vampish nishi and sona being thrown out didnt give them better trps but got lots of negative reviews. Its much much better now post the leap n I hope they do consider a time slot change or another season..I cant help with the trends but I will watch it on tv ,may be the trps will get better

Truth is the show is bakvaas but I think the sudden announcement has not allowed anyone closure. Fandoms are like spouses to their shows, if the show wants to break off suddenly, fandom response is exactly like one of a jilted lover. I am not making fun I am trying to also understand with help of the closest analogy I can. Some partners know that if the partner says they want to break off, they move on too, especially if the relationship was already bad. I suppose it gets difficult for those partners who never thought it was a bad relationship or that they always hoped it would get better.

Cannot agree more on ITV fandoms using their emotions and hallas for betterment of ITV itself, but then it’s never that is it, the emotion is based on the relationship with the tv show so you are not looking at other relationships or institution in general, you look at it as a one on one...

End of the day, fandoms have a particular demographic...which explains lots of things.

On another note...my mom who lives in indore used to watch this show and also a bunch of aunties in her building and on the same street. All of them stopped watching a month or so ago, in fact most of them didn’t even know there was a leap... my mom’s whole thing was surgeon aur surgeon ke family ke baare mei kya dikha rahe hai kuch bhi...

btw there used to be an ITAM meter in one of the aunty’s house don’t know if they still do.

Interesting. so this show was always watched by people want ing less drama, so the whole shift in drama was not appreciate d?, i too stopped watching for last 2 weeks, started watching again since yesterday, I could not handle all the drama and all the plotting against Sonakshi. but I want a proper closure with proper Ronakshi moments they promised, that's why want an extension

FD want khkt extension because khkt hasn't reached the main theme yet..the time management of two professionals..we all wished that after these all siyappas,all truth coming out..then when will ronakshi have a reunion,makers might focus on this....that's why they want khkt at least 3 to 4 months extension so that they can show something like the main theme of the show & do a proper closure..now as show is going off air at 14 march..these small amount of time can just make the revelations & make sona innocent infront of sippys as well as nareen's recovery...then the end..fans don't want this...they want to see khkt at least for 2 months like that what they signed for..by this,khkt can become a unique show of star plus & will remain in everyone's heart forever...

The show went downhill a bit but the leap has at least made things better. I will miss this show but I guess im ok with it ending

I agree. I think it's the actors. For me I started watching this show because of Dipika. I supported her throughout BB12, and then seeing her in a show made me want to watch it.

I am also started watching this show for Dipika kakar. I also supported her throughout BB 12. I really liked her acting in KHKT. The only disappointment for me is she is not received any award for this show because her acting is natural and superb in KHKT. She gained lot of popularity in young generation in social media for KHKT. That gives me happiness. I am waiting for her future projects after KHKT.
