Were Ayushmann and Ranveer really more deserving than Shahid

Any remember Kangu won best critics award in 2015, when her movie earned double of what "Popular Actress" won that year, so don't say Shahid doesn't count for Best Critics Award.

They weren't. But the woke chewtiyas would've thrown all their toys out of the pram if Shahid had won the award for KS.

RS - Shahid close call i would say. RS really lifted a average film like Gully boy.Shahid was of course brilliant and truly lifted the film. Ayushman doesnt deserve at all.

I don't think Gully Boy was an actor's movie, it was a thoroughly director's movie. Ranveer didn't had a on your face character, the ones who lift or carry a movie. His work was a subtle, and ge definitely did a very good job, not denying that. But mass was provided by Aloo's Safeena.

Aayushman wasn't even in competition

Rs and shahid were close

Shahid movie fully dependent on his performance and he delivers

Rs has to be more subtle than his usual

I think it was close call .

However my vote goes for Shahid just coz while Rs being good didnt have scenes which made me go wow whereas shahid was really great in many scenes

Ayushmann is becoming ridiculously overrated in terms of his acting. Dude, just like befitting reply and Akki, plays himself in different scenarios.

I feel Zoya faltered with the writing of Murad...it needed more meat ...RS that's why I feel pulled it up with whatever little he got...

Shahid could’ve got it but they were never going to award Kabir Singh

I was expecting Kabir Singh to be so boring, but the direction and shahid kept you glued to the movie. he was Kabir never shahid playing Kabir. no hamming whatsoever. most of the stuff was so offbeat, I can't see anyone else pulling it off. and he really didn't have the star supporting cast that Ranveer did.

Kabir Singh was better than his acting Haider for me
