Im not questioning that there was no star power of Vicky is what I meant. He got lucky because of the momentum.

None.

uri maybe wasn't expected to do so well, but it's a patriotic movie on a rock solid subject.it was bound to do okay.

Kabir Singh success is also not surprising.it had a solid album, and as far as I can see Indian audience loves the toxic male lead.so, no surprises there as well.ya, but yes maybe not expected to be such a high grosser.

I don't know, but both of the film's success don't surprise me.

Let me put it this way. If Shahid had done Uri it would have still been successful but if Vicky had done KS it would not have got half the BO success. It's not Shahid has great BO pull but he is really good actor & perfectly suited the role.

One of the biggest factors for Kabir Singh's massive opening was the positive reaction to Shahid's performance from the trailer. KS was one of those rare movies heavily depending on performance of the main lead. It was also a bigger risk as few missteps in performance and Shahid would have been brutally compared to Vijay. Shahid's energy and zeal was one of the major factors that created the hype.

Uri is a case in which the content was much superior to the star. Any other actor and film would have still done the more or less similar business.

Both the actors owned their respective roles ⭐️, So success of none of the two films was a fluke smiley20 although the original of KabirSingh was a box office success 😉

Acting is subjetive. I never felt connected to any character he played barring Udta Punjab.. So for me Vicky is much better actor
