It's a fact that our Indian society is male dominating society ! This is something that is prevale since ages !

Men are above women ! This has been the norm !

Heck even in Bollywood heroines were paid less than men !

Only in recent times this mentality has started changing BUT we still have a long way to go !

Macho men have been hailed as heroes ! Movies like KABIR SINGH have become a blockbuster ! See it's a movie and directors are allowed to narrate tales of flawed characters BUT what was alarming was that Kabir's behaviour was HAILED !

what was more alarming was that more than men it was women who LOVED Kabir and his toxic behavior !

Men dominating women., treating them as dirt, as their property, even hitting them ...these all have been deemed alright since a long time ! This will take years to change !

So, I am not surprised that Shukla has fans and is hailed as a hero by so many !

He is abusive , gets violent , is arrogant and over dominating ! I HOPE no woman gets husband like Shukla !

I am sure even those who love him won't be able to stay with a man like him unless they decide to become doormats and completely devote themselves to his service !

If Shukla wins ....HE VERY WELL CAN AS HE HAS MANY FANS PLUS THE MAKERS HAVE HAMMERED DOWN THE NARRATIVE IN MINDS OF THE VIEWERS THAT SHUKLA IS A HERO ...HE IS NOT WRONG..this is called ILLUSORY TRUTH EFFECT (U repeatedly tell a lie until u start believing that it's true)_ ..it will set such a bad example for everyone around !

Although it's just a reality show YET there are so many youngsters who watch this show and do get influenced !

Shukla winning will encourage this kind of bully, narcissistic , dominating and abusive behavior ! SIGH !

Well said.

This is what disturbs me deeply.

Yuck Kabir Singh and the way it was hailed! I was so upset with Shahid Kapoor for having accepted such a role because everyone does have a responsible role to play in society isn't it if you are even a little bit conscious as a human being!

Shukla is the epitome of toxic masculinity. Not just that he has so many disturbing flaws. He thinks he is superior, is gods gift to mankind, is narcissistic to the hilt, abuses openly and easily, is unable to take well meaning criticism or opposition, is incapable of introspection, is incapable of hearing others out let alone take their point of view into account, treats women like shit, huffs and puffs and is so easily prone to violence, he always plots and schemes.

tell me is there even one good trait that he has?????

It is a personal attack and all you have done is create false equivalence - just because someone may admire someone on TV does not mean that they want to spend the rest of their lives with them.

So what does it mean when u admire such qualities but dont want such people in ur life.. is that it..

"False equivalence is a logical fallacy that occurs when someone incorrectly asserts that two or more things are equivalent, simply because they share some characteristics, despite the fact that there are also notable differences between them.

The most common issues that make an equivalence false are the following: for eg-

The equivalence ignores differences in orders of magnitude between the things being equated."

As I said before there is major difference in liking someone who they see on TV and wanting to share your life with that someone- I mean it's a bullshit comparison.

I like and admire SRK but that does not mean I want to marry him😳

TM is talking about "if someone likes/admires Shukla, what's wrong in blessing them aapko Shukla jaise partner mil jaye." not Shukla se shadi karo😆

of course we are not allowed to talk about members. phir bhi subah se shaam tak 'Shukla Haters' sunna padd raha hai. kya karein ye duniya hi aise hai zalim😆

I am surprised too. Siddharth isn't playing a character. He is being himself - real. Then, being his fan here isn't equal to being a fan of a fictional character - it is liking his character, behaviour, nature, habits. Then, a guy like Siddharth is the ideal man especially for Sid-Naaz/Ra/Arth/Hira fans.
