I hope it is not kunal thing

He is different than Abir and has his own touch

Even if it looks unromantic but it will be most romantic for kuhu because it will be from his heart

They are not cheesy couple so no cheesy thing

My not-so-short KuKu-centric analysis of today's episode if anyone is interested in reading (not posting it in the main discussion thread because I'm afraid of eggs getting thrown at me for talking about KuKu ):

Right off the bat, did you notice how Kunal looked when Nidhi maami was like "My Kuhu teacher is the best!" Ritvik yaar, marva doge kya??!!! His eyes said EVERYTHING.

Random insertion, did anyone notice how the same clothes that Kuhu threw in her suitcase yesterday (neon crop jacket and black athletic jacket) miraculously reappeared in the closet today? Idk why, but that made me crack up 😆.

Second, it killed me that Kunal literally hasn't said that he wants to Kuhu to stay because HE needs her, and instead said that he wants her to stay because his FAMILY needs her. I loved how Abir just took that to mean that Kunal loves Kuhu, and even told Kunal that Kuhu would NEVER get back with him if he said the same thing to her. #tactlesschokro #RomanticallyChallengedRajvansh

And you know how Kunal was like, "I don't know how to talk like you, bhai"? BRO KUNAL HELLO it doesn't take a poet to literally say "I'm sorry, Kuhu. I love you. Please don't leave me." But okay, pop off or whatever, mister #TwentySomethingYearsOldWithTheEmotionalQuotientOfATenYearOld.

I was a little irked when Badi Maa came and gave Kuhu Akshara's earrings, sort of like placating her because she didn't get the Rajvansh family heirloom. Kuhu isn't a TODDLER. She never had a real problem with not getting the necklace, she has a billion other insecurities that have gone completely unaddressed, which is why she got upset about the necklace. But yeah, let's reduce Kuhu to the maturity level of a five year old, who gets upset when Mishti gets a lollipop, then instantly happy when someone gives her a lollipop, because that's just SUPER CONVENIENT FOR EVERYONE, no? #CharacterDevelopmentWho? #InDepthConversationsWho?

Quick side note, Kaveri was ROCKING that floral dress. Like DAMN. #FireBrigadeKoBulao

MOVING ON...

When Mishti took the family picture and was like "hawwww my BEAUTIFUL FAMILY", I feel like the writers were intentionally trying to make Kuhu like a petty, insecure brat. There was absolutely no need for that. Kuhu's state of mind was different, Mishti's was different. Have you ever been so worried or upset about something that literally everything else that happens to you ends up pissing you off in some way? That is literally the summary of Kuhu's attitude in yesterday's episode. But okay, let's just trivialize it and call it immature.

Next: In WHAT WORLD is it okay to just answer someone else's phone calls? I love my cousin sisters, but I wouldn't just ANSWER a call on their phone for them, ESPECIALLY if they're standing in the same room. That is called a basic respect for privacy. Mishti's heart was in the right place, but girl, BOUNDARIES. Kuhu was literally standing right there. Was it really so hard for you to walk over and say, "Kuhu, koi tumhe call kar raha hai, ye lo", and give her the phone? Well apparently, that was REALLY hard for #Sherlock2.0. And when Kuhu yelled at her, she 100% should have seen that coming. Like seriously Mishti. You really asked for it this time.

The one thing I didn't like about Kuhu today was that the writers were posing her dialogues to make her sound intentionally immature. Like calling Mishti an "ugly duckling" and going on and on about how Mishti is always the "center of attention" in situations where Mishti was indeed the center of attention, but not for the right reasons. Kuhu, meri jaan, TAKE THE COMPLIMENT. Mishti is literally raving about how #awesome you are, so can't you just take the dub and be NICE about it??? #HadHaiYaar

In conclusion, today's episode was definitely not as #spicy as yesterday's, but at least the plot is moving a little faster? The writers seem to have suddenly remembered that this show is actually called Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, not Yeh Rishta Hain Pyaar Ke. Now that they've started to treat both MishBir and KuKu as parallels, I'd love to see some relationships being mended, like Kuhu-Mishti and Kunal-Parul, and others being highlighted more, like Varsha-Shaurya and Kunal-Abir-Ketki (sorry yaar Atul, pata nahi kahan gayab ho gaya bechara), just to name a few examples. But unfortunately, 20 minutes mein yeh sab dikhana #impossible hai.

If makers really planning to Kuhu manipulated by Meenakshi and she will join hand with Meenakshi to seperate Mishbir and for that she agree with Kunal after his confession & apologies to let not this divorce happen just because she wants to stay RV house nd try to separate Mishbir then I'M SO SORRY TO SAY.. KuKu is forever END for me 💔 I won't never ever accept them together.. I'll prefer let Kunal die by accident and let Kuhu find her fairytale husband and get marry with him 🤢 I don't want to see another "Swaragani" 🐷 🤢

Aaahhh you think so?? I didn’t think it was worth an independent post tbh (half of it was just the regular random bakwaas that goes on in my head), but I’m tickled you think so 🤗. I think I’ll leave it here though... Not sure how well it will be received by people outside this thread who are already frustrated by lack of MishBir scenes.

yaar, pange nahi lete 😆 I’m really risk averse, even posting that “unpopular opinion” post was a big step for me. Anyway, I thought anyone who would care to read my analysis are probably active on this thread anyway, and it’s really fun to have easygoing conversations in here.

@ journalgirl32: thanks for penning your thoughts.

Earlier if Mishti acknowledged Kuhu, she would appreciate it. Maybe not openly but she would've.

We'll have to get used to the unnatural dialogues. The makers have decided that's how they're going to approach Kuhu.

On surface it doesn't seem like a bad idea giving kuhu the earings, because it was a sign of appreciation and validation from her family. She liked it. But, I agree, that won't solve anything.

Everyone needs to stop papering over the cracks and talk to Kuhu. I think abir is the best person here. He's the only one that can get through to her, I think. Just, let her vent once and for all.

God knows when this revenge track will end but somewhere I think it's to unite mishti and kuhu. But what's the point if kuhu becomes irredeemable. 🤢

Just as a side note,

if kuhu joins hands with meenu to plot against mishbir, where does that leave kunal. The audience won't appreciate Kuku as a pair because they'll hate kuhu so much. Are the actors, namely Ritvik, prepared for that. He seems like a sensible actor who won't stay with a neglected character just for the sake of it. Plus he's too young to be bound by it. And sometimes I feel like he's already bored.

Great posts Meera and Snow. You guys have penned my thoughts 👏

Meera, I wont bother with the main forum. The "last word" attitude is not worth the back &forth. This is exactly why I stopped posting altogether. There is very little appetite for differing points of view. And why should we blame the viewers when the writing doesn't do justice to any characters. Main leads included

See you around

It's okay if you don't want to make it a main thread. I only said so because you've made points that wouldn't create friction because Kuhu ki taareef zyada nahi hai to people would anyway be okay with that. Warna they just blow up.

Now, let's get to the episode.

@Bold - YES! YES!! YES!!!🔥🔥🔥

Seems like Ritvik is learning from Kaveri how to make the eyes do the talking. She seems to be an expert. Even if she doesn't have any dialogues in a scene, she can convey Kuhu's feelings just with her expressions! 👏

*I did notice the clothes back in the cupboard. Lagta hai suitcase neeche laane se pehle Kunal ne kapde nikaal diye ki Kuhu ko ab kapde lene waapis aana hi padega*

I was hoping to see a full on tadapta hua Kunal but aaj bhi fulfill nahi hua wo sapna but atleast kuch to finally bola usne. I'm kind of glad that it wasn't a love confession but rather how much he admires her strength and her ability to spread happiness. He is still not sure if he loves Kuhu but he is sure that jaane anjaane me hi sahi but he got married to the right girl.

Aww-bro to hai hi romantic plus he is the biggest KuKu shipper. Sabse pehle sapne sajaane usi ne to shuru kiye the. Ye dono bhai, I tell you, ek doosre ki love story ke liye apni kurbaan karne ko taiyaar hai🤦🏻‍♀️.

I didn't get the earring scene. I mean I get it if you wanted her to have the earrings but give it because you want to give it to her, not because ek beti ko haar mila to doosri ko bura nahi lagna chahiye. And on top of that, she said "Mai apni dono betiyon me farak nahi karti". Don't make your motives so obvious. It only makes the person feel worse ki it's a pity gift.

Also, I don't get the reason for making this episode completely dedicated to how awesome Kuhu is and then making her react like that. Also, what was that picture scene? You really think Kuhu wouldn't be able to fit everyone in a selfie? Kuch bhi matlab!🤷🏻‍♀️

Rest of it, I don't think I need to repeat. You literally said it all perfectly, especially the boundaries thing!! Why did she have to pick up the phone?? And why was Varsha trying to check Mishti's messages? You took the phone so that she can go to sleep undisturbed. If something was that important, the person would eventually call. Humaare desh me kisi ko privacy samajh hi nahi aati.

Peace out!✌🏼
