Of course, it is. I have mentioned in the post and even the post says Sidharth Shukla team. As a mother, she will definitely be impressed to see her child cook and do basic household work. However, these things should be taught right from childhood.

Absolutely!!! More so to boys....girls will eventually learn anyways

Imagine you watching someone be lazy and scratching themselves for 40 odd years, even you will feel proud when that the day has come that he is boiling water and taking bath. 👏

Yes, I completely agree with you. There's nothing to be proud of, specially if someone doesn't know basic household work.

I am disappointed at the buzz and hype. I have no issues with his beautiful mumma or Sidharth.

Dear Mom,

You are a very nice lady and I respect you a lot. You are not only Sukls s mom but also salu and my mom.

Dear mom, when my elder brother comes back from BB, please tell him how to respect women.

Well it’s you and I who think that washing dishes , making tea or omelette is basic survival skills which all humans should have. But there are zillion Siddharth in India and all over the world, partly due to their upbringing where even picking up their own dirty plate is beyond them as it’s a job of a inferior sex.

Sidharth Shukla's mother (we can say his Team) penned an open letter, thanking the makers for introducing a new avatar of her son. Media portals have picked up the story and it is becoming viral. I liked the open letter, after all it was coming from his mother (still maintain his team).

She mentioned that Sidharth cut vegetables, made omelettes, made tea, washed utensils and she is glad, the show introduced her to Chef Sidharth.

My question is what's the big deal about doing household chores? Why can't a guy do it? Making tea is a basic thing. Why do we encourage such behaviour where a 35-year-old is appreciated for doing household work? He is not a teenager or child, who can't do his own work. Why so much buzz and appreciation for it?

I am not at all blaming his mother but I fail to understand the buzz and hullabaloo about it.

Why so much negativity on this little thing.

Rashmi’s mom gave a video interview on IFs where she mentions she very proud of her daughter because she never thought she could cook and all and survive. She also mentioned that I didn’t want her to do the show because of these things but she’s very proud of her now.

Just because Shukla’s mom is saying all this for him people have to put it in a bad way. She has also written many other nice things in the letter. It’s something she felt proud of, you don’t need to find negativity in everything.
