The Assistant Who Became Central to the Investigation

Kenneth Iwamasa was not just an employee. According to Perry’s family and close circle, he had become one of the closest people in the actor’s life. Perry had hired him in 2022 and reportedly paid him USD 150,000 annually. In the months before the actor’s death, Iwamasa stayed constantly by his side and eventually became deeply involved in Perry’s drug use.
