what's the big deal about doing household chores?

Sidharth Shukla's mother (we can say his Team) penned an open letter, thanking the makers for introducing a new avatar of her son. Media portals have picked up the story and it is becoming viral. I liked the open letter, after all it was coming from his mother (still maintain his team).

She mentioned that Sidharth cut vegetables, made omelettes, made tea, washed utensils and she is glad, the show introduced her to Chef Sidharth.

My question is what's the big deal about doing household chores? Why can't a guy do it? Making tea is a basic thing. Why do we encourage such behaviour where a 35-year-old is appreciated for doing household work? He is not a teenager or child, who can't do his own work. Why so much buzz and appreciation for it?

I am not at all blaming his mother but I fail to understand the buzz and hullabaloo about it.

But wait when did this happen????? Did the biased BB cut this also and air it only for his mother and team???? He should win because of this bias now.

Siddharth is your regular MCP, someone who is superior to women but humble enough to do work which is ideally done by inferior sex... His mother taught him that slapping women is fine (as he claimed)... So, I am just guessing that his household is like that where men don't move a glass and women have to do everything....

Amazing! This is new, a grown ass man learning to be self sufficient on national TV. How unique and humble of him to make f**king omelettes.Deserves a medal of valor.

all hail Sid the most deserving winner of BB....... because he made breakfast, tea.

Congratulations! He's an adult now.🥳

But wait. Didn't that happen 20 years ago?

Knowing shukla, it probably didn't. I can't imagine how proud his mother would have been if he actually did some house chores and his own work rather than ordering people around. Ah the novelty of seeing her middle aged son working!

This speaks more about how hard working and patient his mom has been. Kudos to aunty then.

Yaar woh mummy hain......yaha forum par hum mostly bache hain......toh i will give example.....like main personally roj cook nahi karti .......mumma hi karti hain....she doesnt let me keep cook.....jab sat sun mera off hota hain toh i take over kitchen.....my mom is like ki meri beti achi hain ....madad kar rahi hain.....because she is a mother.....sach kya hain .....even she is working lady like me....and manages it throughout week....difference itna hain ki she is principal....toh she comes home max by 2.30....mujhe 9 bajte hain roj....but kiski age jyaada hain....aur kisse kam karna chahiye ....mujhe ....it should be me cooking entire week but abhi main manage kar nahi paati hoon itna......but my mom still feel sat sun ko mera karna jyada bada hain.... jabki reality mein hain nahi bada....its mumma thing. And i am eldest one in my family........meri sister mahino mein banaye khana .....tab bhi sab khush ho jaate hain jaise pata nahi kaunsa bada kaam kiya hain.

Sid is the youngest one in his house with two elder siblings.....clearly his mom statement shows that he has not really been involved in cooking in house......may be they have chefs or may be his mummy herself cooks......but sid nahi karta......toh sid ko cooking karte dekhna gives her happiness ki mera beta bhi kar sakta hain yeh sab......its not a big thing in real....but mummies ke liye hota hain ki mera bacha kitchen ka kaam kar raha. I think thats why she is so happy and mentioned that. But you are absolutely right.....koi badi cheej nahi hoti hain household chores karna......sabko karna chahiye.

I dont understand what's wrong in the letter..

We have seen how Sid entered the show and now he learnt a lot of things staying at BB home..

She admitted that he was not capable earlier for those and Happy for his change..

Infact she has wriiten a postive letter right? No bashing no comments on other contestant, not showing anyone negative right..?

After all, Mother will be proud of her Son.. Right?

If she do promote her son at the last stage its a motivation for his Fans too right ? So definitely it will create buzz..

I am still ROFLing at the person who wrote this letter.🤣

He learnt basic survival cooking. How does that make him a Chef? It rather makes him just a self sufficient Adult.

And if Shukla is a Chef for this, then what does it make Rashami?

Or for that matter Shilpa Maa jinhone pure season Rotiyan banayi thi. Would she be called Michelin star Chef now?🤪
