I think the problem is people cannot think beyond what they understand, or they are not willing to challenge their own preconceived notions.

MJ is not only an egoistic womanizer, but also a sociopath who gets enjoyment out of suppressing then breaking women. He did it to antara for years and he did the same to Manvi. MJ was not wasting his time with maya so he can sleep with her, it was so he can satisfy his own ego by breaking her to pieces. If he only wanted sex, then he would just find a willing woman. This is not about lust, it is about control. He is a Male chauvinistic pic who simply wanted to bring her underneath his feet. I know it is hard to understand, but it is not completely unlikely. MJ is a obsessive, manipulative sociopath.

She told him very politely that she was not interested in him. And if MJ is that unhinged to take something as trivial as this to heart, then he would've been in a mental asylum or under psychiatric treatment long ago. Someone who is so mentally unstable cannot run a huge business empire for long.

He clearly saw her as a challenge. She showed disinterest in him by rejecting the flowers. I remember in ek haseena thi, the villain shaurya, who was an awful and emotional rapist, saw every girl as a challenge to win and inflate his ego, and the more the girl rejected his advances, the more he would chase her and stoop low to win her over. It's like an animal who enjoys the hunt.

Ok let's just say the story is from Manvi's point of view. But we all have seen the way MJ behaves with Antra. Is that a part of Maya's 'schizophrenia'?? Or his affair with Diya??? Or the way he is abusing his son's wife now??? Or the way he got shot by Myrah?????

Schizophrenic!!!!!!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Yeah! It's not maya's imagination the way MJ manipulates and controls his own family. Whereas all the effort he put into wasting time on manvi..... most of it is just ITV being overdramatic as usual, but also MJ is one of those special case men who are so despicable that they enjoy and feel pride in playing games and manipulating people. Merely being a rich and successful business man won't stop the personality traits MJ has from coming out, hence won't stop him from investing time into playing games with a girl who he sees as a challenge to win.

it's similar to how they say that not all psychopaths/sociopaths are killers in jail.... but often have careers that nurture their traits or allow their traits to continue to thrive. A businessman/ CEO is one of the most perfect careers for a psychopath or sociopath to have, not that I am saying MJ is one, but simply just because you are a high-fly businessman doesn't mean you aren't capable of using those below your class or level to continue to inflate your ego.

I get the idea of a business man investing time and efforts like fake wrist cutting to make a poor office employee of his to fall in love with him and ruin her over a minor rejection seems unbelievable to topic maker, but at the same time it isn't unbelievable given what the personality of the person is. Different people see benefit in different things.

I remember watching a super interesting interview on a british show I watch call This Morning, where an expert said that in most cases of rapes, the motivator isn't lust, but power assertion and dominance, and I remember this was in reference to a debate that took place whether a girl's clothing choice is to blame for inciting men to rape. And it clicked, because why is it so many cases of serious rapes in india were of girls/ women wearing nothing revealing and the clothes were often purely modest if clothes are to blame?

Topic maker is only thinking from their own perspective as a normal human being who is unable to fathom how a sociopathic or narcissist personalities may behave, which is fair, yet there's nothing too much unbelievable about the extent of the actions of MJ against manvi.

Also, "the craigslist killer" he is a convicted serial killer. The guy used to find escorts on craigslist and kill them. Surprising thing was, he came from a wealthy family, had a fiance and was attending medical school at Harvard. Now why would a man like that commit such deplorable crimes? sometimes we cannot rationalize people's behaviour.

Because sick people like that are not satisfied with material wealth, career and personal success.... they have fantasies and twisted emotions too that need satisfying and nurturing.... never underestimate humans and what they can do or the way they think.

What I mean is, if MJ hated Maanvi so much, then how did she get into the Roy mansion and meet Antara? (Initial flashbacks)

I think Maya is schizophrenic and is imagining some of the story in her own head.

Tell me something guys, would any 40+ rich businessman waste so much time and energy on a twenty-something nobody? Especially a suave, smooth-talking man like MJ? He'd simply move on to the next target.

Something feels off about the whole back story. No normal person, no matter how egoist, would put so much time and energy into trapping someone simply because she returned flowers. Utter nonsense.

another thing.. in flashbacks they showed Maanvi met Diya in the house but recent episode showed that she met her in the hospital. The timeline is not mentioned thoroughly. Even in first season they showed Maya planned this or that but didn't show any clarity on the timeline. I hope the makers understand this error and give us some better understanding on the past matters.

Trueee and also why is MJ wasting time decorating the baby room for her and holding on to her. Man like MJ change woman very fast so why hold onto someone so long. Even I felt that her perpetrator is someone else but she is just imagining MJ as her perpetrator....People who are traumatized tend to suppress their memory and then their thoughts get all jumbled up.

Knowing Beyhadh's track, there will be a twist somewhere. Wonder if we will get MJ's flashback as well- him telling his story from his POV. MJ seems very angry with her and not because she married his son but because there is something big that Maya knows about him and his closer clan that will destroy everything. And remember Sudhir said your biggest enemy is one who knows all your secrets and that is MAYA.

I second this thought. What I feel maybe Sudhir impersonate himself as MJ or something like this or Maya was imagining Sudhir as MJ. They call her as Manas's Sister, MJ has so much hatred towards her that cannot be only for a fling, maybe as per her imagination she blamed MJ and created some situations that made him angry. Moreover a guy like MJ just doesn't seem as this kind of womanizer (He is too much emotionally involved with his family and also with Diya). His portrayal is not like those kind of sick, psycho men. Rather if they had showed he destroyed her life for wealth, business rivalry and all - that seem more like MJ.
