Personally I don't quite agree with this 'Take a stand' nonsense. Simply because like I said above, each and everyone one is different and sees things differently. So yeh jabardasti ka stand lena (taking about the show format) and all is beyond me. Especially when the person you are supposedly taking a stand for probably doesn't even care or want you to take a stand. I mean you can let your stance be known for sure, but then let it go. Pesturing for the same is then stretching it. Because each to its own.
I think it's fine if Sana or Aarti don't want to take the stand. No one should force them either!
Don't know if this was Asim's game, or him giving it back or truly wanting to save Aarti! Regardless I think his motive was more or less calling out Sid on "using" all of them under the garb of friendship and loyalty ... Asim has been taunted and bullied on many occasions regarding his friendship with Sid, Shefali and now even Rashmi (-like how Sana does it). They all keep poking him for his equations nothing to do with them .... So I felt this was his way to give them all back for all the name calling he faced. Everyone is playing their game. Some may have genuine emotions still someone like Sid nah, he has proved how he "uses and throws" his convenience wale friends. Someone who couldn't even show his loyalty to Sana whom he shares his bed and blanket with, then woh kisi ka saga nahi (Jo baat he said it for Sana applies more for him)!
So Asim's reaction may have been OTT or loud and not reasonable, but I felt he was right in his shoes! I am glad he "called them all out", about time they also get some of their sh!t back! Even if he had to hear a lot more from Sana, I am ok with his reaction today! At least he called out the "dhokebaaz" that POS Shukla is!
On another note, this poster is quite powerful! I truly feel Asim has been bullied the most! .... Harsh reality of the show, but I really have hard time watching bullying and ganging up, reason why I skip so many Eps. It's very disturbing. #SayNo2Bullying!
