Exactly, Rudra's obsession is saving Maya. It's like internally he kind of knows that Maya is capable of doing dark things and has a sanak. It's like he has this instinct of understanding her. But his emotions for his family kind of deter him from his sanak and objective - which is saving Maya.

Rudra's life goal was to create an identity apart from his father. He only wanted to be Rudra Roy. Now his aim to save Maya will create his separate identity as Rudra Roy, because the more he delves into Maya, the more he will be closer to his family's murky truth which pushed Maya down a dark way. Maya's victory will be giving Rudra his liberation from the baggage of his family's karma, which will push him not to just give a new identity to himself but also to the Roy family name, which won't have the mark of Mrityunjay's darkness. Somewhat similar to Mahabharat where Pandavs brought a wave of freshness and liberation to Bharatvarsh and gave a new identity and new face to the rotten Kuru clan.

@bold, yes. Rudra is very possessive as we know it. Before also he did not like anyone close to Maya. He did not like any other man's close proximity to her either. Be it Rajiv or even Rishi. He is like Maya is someone meant for him to be read, touched, cherished and loved. We don't know why, but that is what it is.

Maya truly is oscillating between love for Rudra and revenge on Mrityunjay. I really don't know what happened while river rafting. Rudra does not know how to swim, then how did he survive the water? Did Maya save him? If she did, then her whimpering before Ganga maiya is understandable that what does she do now, because she could not kill Rudra. And then Rudra brings another Googly by marrying her. Marrying wasn't Maya's plan. I think the marriage and all that ensues is very much true, but that has not deterred Maya from the path of revenge. Rudra has just altered her course - ke khud bhi zinda raho aur dusro ko bhi rehne do type, lekin badlo lo. I am a little confused, but let's wait for Monday.

We finally saw a the sanak that we were talking about. When he was searching for maya like a madman, collected the black beads and how he understands maya's very core. I loved how the enitre sequence, writers did good and the picturization was great.

True. Confidence to aaya hai Maya ke wajah se hi. Maya ke reasons jo bhi ho. Usne hamesha apne tareeko se Rudra ka aatmavishwas badaya hai. He is in a much better space as an individual now than he was before she entered his life. Just like Rudra is the rock that blocks out Maya from her dark ways, Maya is the pillar that gives strength to Rudra.

Even maya was surprised. Rudra will be rock that will change her direction every time. Maya overestimates herself, but the truth is, there is no one above god. she will have to surrender to his wishes in the end, someone as pure as Rudra won't die in a holy river. shame on her to even think something like that

Or the Ram-Sita like trail, where Maya's conscience was leading Rudra to find her & save her from evil..

Or the Shiv-Parvati like union of Shiv committing to the worldly life and uniting with Parvati.

Or from the precap, Mayas attempt to drown Rudra in the Ganges and him returning to safety coz Ganga won't drown the one whom she flows from nor the one who is her sisters soulmate.

And similarly, Maya saying she wants to relieve Rudra from all worldly bonds and this Ganga dubki trip will help cleanse him from any bad influence of MJ.

Also, u rightly pointed to the pic burning which symbolizes the burning of the past to pave the way for the future. As far as love is concerned, Rudra has taken center stage in Mayas life.

The MayRa scenes today were raw and passionate. The way Rudra touched Maya was both intimate and honest. She courses in his blood and his heart's every beat. As for Maya, the whole Kill Rudra campaign is nothing but a whole lot of talk & zero action. She doesn't even have control on her senses when he is around. Oh the amount of power Rudra holds on her. I am very excited for the Gandharv Vivaah that's taking place between MayRa. Another call back to MB - Dushyant & Shakuntala. Foresight for a child too.

That picture burning away was the pain of past love burning away. Because Rudra has entered as the balm to heal Maya. It's actually Mrityunjay's karma. Baap ke kiye ki keemat beta chukayega. Baap ne sab cheena tha, ab beta lautayega. Coming to Maya's karma, jaan ke badle jaan to le li, lekin uska karma bhi hota hai. Kisi ka baccha tumne cheena, aur agar story waisa direction legi, to Maya may give birth to a child but she will never get to cherish motherhood. But who knows, how the story will turn around.

Rishi ka truth jab Rudra ko pata chalega, to woh zarur gussa hoga, I am not saying so, but not to the extent of murdering Maya. Instead, he will want to save Maya only. From his family, his father. His family has cost many innocent lives, Rudra will want to end this khooni khel actually.

I don't know man. I mean kaun he ye behen. Maya naam tha ya kuch aur naam tha. Kab se confusion chalu hai. Close to 50 episodes now and we have zero clues about her past and her panga with the Roys.

Shaadi bhi ho gayi. Koi mujhe batayega ki sindoor aur mangalsutra kyun nahi pehna hai nayi dulhan ne. Promo me to tha. Aur S1 me, Maya started wearing colors after she fell for Arjun and after marriage. Kya ye din hume S2 me dekhne ko milega?

I think Writesrs are gradually adding colours to her wardrobe, so it is not too jarring. In S1, maya wore saree and dressed up like the quintessential wife because she was happy. there were no agendas behind her marriage to arjun.

In this season, she is only interested in revenge, and this marriage does not matter to her yet. she has no intentions of being a ideal daughter-in-law or Rudra's wife as of now. but as her Mindset changes, as she steps towards rudra, she will begin wearing colorful sarees, and the usual ornaments of married woman. if suddenly she changes, it will be out of character

only BTS we got is the one where Maya entered the house and she was wearing black without a sindoor or mangalsutra. it remains to be seen whether Maya dresses up like a newly married woman the day after. who knows
