It did but BB13 has higher Gautam literally tweeted only #Asim with a few emojis and that tweet literally got over 46000 likes which shows the amount of craze for this season

BB11 got such a high TRP that they started EXTRA DOSE ON MTV, And VOOT became a superhit streaming platform. Even online it was a massive hit. BB12 then destroyed everything.

As for social media, half of it is PR. Even PM Modi does not get this many tweets. All neutrals know trends are fake. And many many more people now use social media due to Jio and cheap internet.
