Especially if one has weight issues, it's not gonna be nice to hear and just cuz you've heard others call you that, don't mean you become immune to it.

She herself said in one of the USUD ki woh moti hai...and I understand it is not nice to hear word moti...but Paras Aur Shukla toh aate jaate isko moti bulate hain and she herself is ok with it. You don't take it too personal.

What has Shukla got to do with anything?

If a shukla calls her 'Moti' tho it's not OK, shes not complaining and she knows shukla. He's a friend who she's been in the house with for the last 3 months.

Umar is a total stranger who's commented on her weight - I'm sure you get the difference?!

I think he was trying to compliment her, and it came out all wrong. He should’ve chosen his words better, or avoided that bit entirely. It sounded wrong and offensive - given its on TV and he was meeting her for the first time. Exactly shukla has made fun of her throughout the show DIRECTLY and UNAMBIGUOUSLY where his meaning and intent is crystal. Wahan nahi dikhta kuch aur ankho me patti bandh jaati he. It was clear Sana was not appreciating Shukla’s “joke” of insisting kids to call her fat. And later when he KNEW for a fact she was offended still persisting and calling her moti moti. But woh toh dikhta hi nahi he.

Aur Umar ka case toh clear cut he bhi nahi he could be giving her a compliment and tripped on his words.

Some people especially with friends/family your OK with certain things. But don't mean you'd be OK with a total stranger doing the same.

Paras, Shukla and rest she's lived in that house for the last 3 months, and they've all developed a comfort factor amongst themselves.
