Paras Mahira is the least of your problem. They are the most real life and perfectly ok. Young people even if they are in love, they feel uncomfortable to PDA infront of parents. So she clearly has a dilemma if that and that makes them cute to watch.

it has nothing to do with game and Paras has never taken undue advantage of anything. It's hatred that gets the better of their judgement. 😃

You do realise na popular culture ( which includes media, TV, Movies) have a very heavy bearing on impressionistic audience. There are a million essays and articles linking popular culture to promotion of rape culture in the world and it’s a huge debate everywhere. Somewhere entertainment also needs to be careful because the things it normalises on the show can end up being very harmful.

How for the longest time our movies showed the hero stalking a girl and harassing her for attention and eventually the heroine gives in. Coz of this so many women have faced stalking and even acid attacks on them, so deny it all you want popular culture has a very intrinsic link to behaviour in society especially of some very impressionistic young people.

You explained it well. There is an episode made on this in Satyamev Jayate where Amir Khan mentioned the same, how movies and such shows which highlight and glorify such stuffs actually affect the society and how makers should be sensitive to such issues.

Kangana even mentioned that item songs in which our film industry portrays women as materials should be banned too.

This is EXACTLY what i have been wondering.. infact I came across few people who proudly said that their boyfriend / Husband finds them more or less like shehnaaz.. and they were proud about it!!! I am still not able to believe such people exist!!!

This! I understand that people on this forum might just enjoy the show for entertainment and not have it mean any life lesson. But again this is such a nice sub group of people who follow this show most of the others especially the young audience will take it as it is and all these things are being promoted as love on the show and is just going to give people a flawed idea of what love is.

also we can time and time again deny it but popular culture has a strong bearing on a lot of issues in society.

BB is just a tv show and the agenda is to grab as much eye-balls as possible not to impart moral education. Even contestants are being pushed to perform and be unreal by telling them regularly that they are not visible so that they do something drastic to get noticed.

Taking a little detour on the topic do you know countries like North Korea and Saudi Arabia who have applied too much of restrictions and censuring are even more regressive.

It actually depends on each person's own mind-set on how we view things. We all watch the same BB show but some people will root for Shukla calling him honest and real while others would see only his aggression and hate him. When a single contestant can draw extremely polarized reaction from people then how can we genalize on what is right or wrong for the society as a whole.

Bang on. This s so true & needs way more attention fom general BB viewers & makers.
