Shouldn't Meghna be blamed for Chaapak failure? - Page 3

As everyone said, if the movie worked, had you guys given the credit to Meghna then? There's a limit to everything, and this sounds outright disgusting.

Meghna for the bad execution and Deepika for the bad acting.

Wish Hansal and Kangana would have done this. The commercial success might not have been tremendous but at least the movie would have been critically acclaimed. Sadly, this association won't be taking place anytime soon.

the main problem here is these are rival fandoms who were just waiting to bash her for one wrong move..........and that wrong move happened first with JNU and now this movie doing bad.......... no matter what the reason, she was always the target........

and honestly, though i feel bad to see it, i have no inclination to defend her as her PR move to go to JNU have left me in shock and anger too......

Accha good actors will be gracing the red carpet soon,strutting their stuff for the award season!

Won't this red carpet be the most exciting this year? News channels shouting,public chanting.

Then the stars descend in their designer outfits..what a sight for sore eyes for the public! Who is the best dressed? Who is the hottest?

Let's not grasp at straws. It had no incidence on the movie. I still remember how the Veere Di Wedding team was bashed for their support to the victim of the Kathua rape.

The movie still became a hit.

Chappak is just bad and so was Deepika.

no-one is grabbing straws here....least of all me, who is herself disappointed with Deepika........i havent even watched the movie, neither I intend too............. but the way other IF members are mocking not only Deepika but even her fandom...is taking out earlier bhadaas, nothing else..........you guys mocked my fav, now i have got the chance, that is the general mood on IF since 2-3 days.........

TM being a so-called deepika fan (new by her own admission) i am just telling her the truth of the forum........ also, in case if she is not new and an old rival fan, just out to get deepika and her fandom bashed.......then she is doing a fine job, opening new threads daily like SH used to do for Alia

But is the movie a fail? For that one has to at least wait for the lifetime and see what the budget is.

Going by reviews it is somehow critically acclaimed with some biases towards the topic cause its something that needs to be watch and talked about so some didn’t trash it.
Deepika got praises but not overwhelming I thought this one could really get her a NA but seems like the average writing didn’t help. In comparison Pravathy will get if she is considered.

i always said opening day or weekend doesn’t reflect Starpower. There are many factors that come to play. Even Salman or Aamir movies doesn’t open to the same numbers. Some are higher some are lower. The trailer , story, genre this are important factors Which leads to a good opening day or weekend after that it’s always WOM.

This giving credit is the fault of the media. It’s always about the star that is part of it. Which leads to the bubble what a big star they are for these numbers. So blame for flop is the same like a hit. If chhapak would do amazing numbers. The first thing would be look at her Starpower. Now the bubble bursted. So better keep quit the next time before bragging.

This is for all actors. We like to put down or celebrate. They are defintely not the only reason for the success of a movie. Right now Salman is the only one and Aamir.

I stopped reading this essay once I read she could get a NA for this. Watch all Deepika movies and just one Parvathy movie. You will know the difference in one shot. It's very insulting to all the NA winners when you see NA and Deepika in the same line.
