It was actually silly, dumb and idiotic retort. Taking digs at Smriti Irani who has left acting to join politics fulltime to defend an actress who is using a political situation to her advantage is no "slaying". One can't fault Smriti for what she chose do to or question her credentials or intentions but one can that of Deepika's. She had ulterior motives for her political stand which is why she is being questioned about it. So richa's dumb retort fails bigtime here as someone else has also explained really well before me..
