sorry didnt get your point. So because DP or as a matter of fact, anyone is an actress or doctor or engineer or commoner or dancer or writer, he/she should not comment on politics, should not support any cause that's related to politics, should not write on political affairs. Only unpadh gawaar politicians who are Chauthi Fail, should have free pass in commenting on anything - who can eat beef, who can dance and act, who can do what?
Sorry to disappoint you, but democracy doesnt work that way. 🤣 I am a famous doctor and I can go support anyone I want without joining politics. My wish, I mean exactly my wish. What can anyone do about it ? 🤪
Yaar, kaha se kaha ... alright, koi nahi. Let's me try to address any confusions.
My point is that Richa's tweet is a reaction based on the HEADLINE of the article, not on the substance of the article.
The headline is: 'Heroines should be in Mumbai and dance': BJP's Gopal Bhargava
Richa's tweet says: This is just no way to talk about ministers in your party. So what if they’ve been actresses before? Today they are capable members of the governing party ! Sheesh. So sexist!
Bhargava said (as seen when you read the article): "Heroine should dance in Mumbai. Why should she go to JNU? I do not know. There are many people like her. If they want to do politics then you should enter politics and contest elections."
So let's break it down.
Richa links the headline quote to ministers in the party who have been actresses before. In other words, she's pretty much saying that Bhargava's comment insults his own party members too. But Bhargava said that if heroines want to do politics, they should enter politics. In other words, those "capable members of the governing parties" (Richa describes) who were former actresses ... did just that -- they entered politics, so Bhargava's comment wouldn't apply to them.
Simply put -- Bhargava isn't talking about actresses who became politicians ... he is talking about actresses who ARE NOT politicians, but getting involved in politics. Again, I'm not stating he is right or supporting him ... I'm just pointing out what I'm seeing.
In sum -- read the damn article, stop judging and commenting based only on clickbait headlines ... otherwise you look like an idiot (you = generally). Had Richa read the article, she could have crafted a more appropriate comeback to Bhargava's demeaning comment.
