why is he not making movies like bajrangi bhaijaan.. these action movies hes making right now is not working its not the early 2010s anymore

people have moved on

i mean dude is rich af ... he's probably one of the most powerful person in bollywood.. he should work with young and up and coming screenwriters and directors

He wanted to milk Bajrangi's popularity with Tubelight but he/Kabir ended up botching it because the effort wasn't honest. Plus, Bajrangi was written by Vijayendra Prasad—the writer of Bahubali films.

Salman had a good phase from 2014-17. Kick was a stylish, decent action comedy. Bajrangi is a classic. Sultan was a great sports drama. Prem Ratan had a very good performance by Salman. And TZH is one of the best action movies of last decade. And it wasn't a masala flick either.

Tiger is the last film Salman signed with Reshma as his manager. Since Tiger, Salman has done Race 3, Bharat, and Dabbang 3, and is doing Radhe now. You can see the drop in quality easily. Curiously, Wanted is the first film Salman signed with Reshma as his manager.

Salman has figured it out all wrong. Tubelight didn't work because Salman was a misfit and the movie was boring. The original itself was a chore. Race 3 was never a series that Salman fit in. It's another thing that the movie was atrocious. He turned down Dancing Dad for Race 3. That was a major blunder. Dabbang was doomed from the moment Salman decided to write it. It's fate was sealed when they hired Prabhu Deva.

Radhe has good source material but Prabhu Deva is an incompetent storyteller. He will destroy it.

Inshallah's debacle will hurt Salman the most. He should work with ALR, Farhan, Kabir, etc. instead of doing movies like Race 3 and Dabbang 3. But Salman's never had any script sense. And he won't work in new, unique content because he's stuck in his own ways. He thinks the protests are the reason why D3 didn't work. As long as he doesn't figure that out, he will continue signing crappy films.

He needs to re-hire Reshma again. These brothers will destroy Salman. And Salman doesn't have the sense to identify right scripts. Apparently, Salim Khan told Arbaaz, "Ab isko bhool jao.. Doosre par focus karo," after watching Dabbang 3. 😆

It’s not that Salman was doing masterpieces before BB. Ready/Bodyguard were as bad as D3/ R3 but they worked then . Ppl are just getting of Salman and Bharat collecting less than Housefull 4 is prove of that . He needs another wanted to reinvent himself this decade

Ready and Bodyguard weren't good movies but were nowhere near as bad as Race 3 and Dabbang 3. I haven't watched D3, so I can't say how bad it was. But Race 3 was a cringe-fest. It was a cartoon. I remember many of my friends actually enjoying Ready and Bodyguard. But the same ones hated Race 3 and Dabbang 3.

Ready/Bodyguard had something for the masses. One might not like it but it wasn't unbearable shit that the likes of R3 and D3 were, or Jai Ho.

That said, as you stated, Salman's name alone was enough to make a movie blockbuster during that run and even until Sultan. Tubelight was a one-off, but after Race 3, Salman did lose his appeal a little bit.

No doubt he needs to re-invent himself. And the only way he can do that is by working with good filmmakers, not with the likes of Prabhu Deva, Remo, or Sohail.

Remo's father daughter dance movie sounded better than Race 3

He is only concerned about making money. He never cared about what crap he is showing in his movies as long as they are blockbusters. Now that blockbusters are not coming, people are giving advice as if his films were good before and now had turned bad 😆

There are levels of quality of film content. Salman's films have always been on the low side. Nowadays most newcomers are of tiktok actor variety, more hamming and less 'acting'. This has affected the Salman films as well. Acting is half-hearted and it is really showing now.

he needs to stop casting loosers in his film and repeat same leading ladies and Big Boss loosers in his films

stop doing family charity films for becos they are giving him awful scripts,do they even read their own scripts...they are hell bent in destroying him becos no actors wants to work in their film...their only good film was Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya and Hello Brother with KHAN Brothers

he needs to balance b/w genres and not focus in one,i am surprise that he focus in one when this guy used to work in various genres in his 90s days

stop singing and writing scripts and concentrate on acting

work with actress of your age

its been ages seeing him in a love story...i would love to see him in a mature love story with madhuri or rani even now they are have great chemistry with him

work with other directors mostly young talent...they pen down new scripts that caters todays audience

stop inputing your thoughts into the script...it flops and listen to the director...to give an example SLB has better vision than salman in terms of the direction he wants to bring his film and salman just needs to bring his version of performance into SLB vision of direction that works
