Why wasnt Marjaavan another Ek Villain ??

EV was great movie and big hit with great music. Marjaavan didnt achieve it.

Marjaavan had great music but terrible content and got horrible reviews. Also, Tara Sutaria is no Shraddha Kapoor.

Marjaavan looked tacky unlike Ek Villain.

One had an actress who was actually popular with audience, and not a fake national crush, overpromoted by RVCJ.

If they didn't make Marjaavan such a masala film it would have done a lot better. It was also a badly made film one of the worst of the year imo

Tara is better looking than Shraddha no doubt but Shraddha definitely had a better screen presence

Marjaavaan was a terrible film. I watched it mainly for Tara and had to skip most of the movie because it was soooo super cringy 😂😂😂

Imo she was way better than Shraddha screaming AYE VILLIAN.

Because EV released in 2014. We are no longer in the early 2010's. Those concepts have died out. Films are evolving fast, the audience is more vocal and social media is only getting louder. Just a good music album (like Aashiqui 2, or EV) will not do it.
