I read the wonderful comments of all.

The thing is it's illogical what they are showing. If Nayan and Brinda fought against each other to kill/save Dev, then the CVs should't say that they will become a naagin after their 25th birthday. Let's say they got half power before the 25th birthday then how come Brinda could save Dev and then later not even understand what happened with her and be unaware of her beeing a naagin ?

Only Manyata could be one of the naagins because she is cursed since more than 25 years. So possibility she got her powers back some time ago or at least 9 months ago. So they can't also make her say that she just got her naagin form back last night.

I can understand bloopers when the show is in the middle but having from the first episode itself it is like taking the viewers for granted.

I just watched the first episode and later in bits and pieces. Caught up with the new promo and super confused. If Nayantara had not ascended into her naagin avatar who was the white snake attacking Dev? In another promo Manyata seems to have gotten her powers just now. How come she is in her naagin dress before she got her powers back? It’s not everyday u get to see a naagin trying to blend in the human world with weird clothes and y r they hell bent on killing innocent people if they r out for revenge? What has Dev done till now that they are after him? He was not involved in anything to do with what happened 25 years ago. Shouldn’t Naagins not kill an innocent else they loose their power? I am a huge fantasy series lover but sadly in India they only churn out crap after crap in the name of supernatural. I get it we don’t have the budget for fancy VFX but logic in storylines shouldn’t be too expensive for these guys 😛 the writers are paid a bomb. Can’t they come up with a decent logical story at least?

Okay I rewatched the episodes and got some of the answers.

Manyata got her powers back a day before that aslesha nakshatra ( she says the same to Kaali ma that " thik ekdin pehle mujhe wapas milgaya or smth " )

Her naagin skin colour has changed now from red to black/gray because she married a human ( she says something along the lines of " sone ke mukut se chandi ka taaj or smth " ) , it was her 'saza'

So Manyata was the naagin that attacked Dev & saved Brinda.

This 25th birthday thing hasn't been brought up yet. Hope they have a plausible explanation regarding this.

Naagin killing innocent will loose power this concept was never used in any season in S1 shesha killed a cook to enter in raheja house during nevla track but she never loose the power.

S3 vish killed ajithabh but still donot loose power. Any is killed by sumitra and even she didn't loose power.

Loosing power by killing innocent applied only on bela.

if going by that killing dev they will loose powers becos dev is innocent he has nothing to do with masscarce,why they want to attack dev and loose their powers dev is innocent actually

changing colours trend started from S2,shivangi consummate with rocky who is a thakshak naagraj himself thus her skin colour was changed as a naagin,here there is a significant for skin colours but seriously its confusing

It's really confusing.As changing from snake back to human form is not shown at all.

And of course in season one both Shivanya and Shesha could change face every here and there. But now no one can.

Thats not loosing powers for bela too..

Bela being naagrani will loose her crown n naagmani powers( power to touch/take naagmani) if she kills any innocent

Vikrant tried his best to make bela kill mahir bt failed.

Its actually the naagrani taaj that will b lost if she kills innocent not the naagin powers..

But in all seasons naagins never aim at any innocent for revenge.

Only this season they r showing like this.

Which im not liking personally.
