Asim meant it. Everyone needs to stop making excuses for him. The way he said it shows quite a bit of his thinking. Someone who has been targeted regarding sexuality should be even more sensitive or understanding to someone of a different sexual orientation. The fact that the country is largely homophobic is not an excuse. I can't believe this one was used.

You felt Asim was trying to be homophobic? Without any actual evidence to begin with. How about you stop telling people what they should do and mind your own business. No one here is making excuses. Reasoning isnt akin to excuses. His thinking was to have a fun with Vikas. He randomly ignored two seconds later to tease Vikas. Him and Vikas already sorted it out and were having fun in the unseen vids today.

We already know how anti Asim you are to begin with so im not surprised at your aggressive tone.

The way vikas took it out of proportion, same happening here.

Yes, Asim asked for razors

He mentioned they are less

When he was suggesting aloe to vikas, his face was towards box but when he turned, yes he smiled. In that direction, it was vishal.now, I don't claim k Asim did it intentional or not, becoz his face was towards box with the comment but yes he smiled. He realized what it went to.

Coming to vikas, when he pointed out, Paras told him you are thinking too much. Still vikas called Asim and sorted out. Yes, Asim fummbled becoz he realized k where his comment went, then he gave explanation k they all uses jab nhi hota

In all this, I just saw an unintentional comment and overthinking. They sorted out.

It went way much with the mockery. Vishal Paras knew k Asim didn't meant it but, they didn't want to be sandwich in this so they let Asim answer and fumbling stuff .

P.s: pro homo needs to understand k there are anti homo still in world and vice versa. Everything is not a point to fight but to debate.

Umm hello

I gave the reasons why I think Asim came off homophobic plenty of times. If needed, look at the first post of this topic.

By the way this is a public forum. Asim is on a reality show. Why do I need to mind my own business? He put himself out there and I can say what I like about him. If you don't like that you don't have to read or respond to my topics. Simple.

I'm not anti Asim. I just don't like how everyone here washes off Asim's wrong doing as if it's nothing. Had it been any other housemates there would have been topics upon topics by the same people defending asim right now.

By your logic TOI is also anti Asim now? 🙄

Well we are defending him because of his intentions, yes it came out looking wrong but what definitely matters is whether he wanted to hurt Vikas over it. To some of us it was more of a tongue n cheek comment with no malice on Vikas or anything homophobic intent especially when Asim was a victim to it atleadt 3 times. What matters is what Asim's moderus operandi was and he was more like having fun. These arent waahiyat reasons because we are looking at perspectives. Every small thing Asim does gets nitpicked and made a huge issue. It gets annoying tbh.

If Asim actually meant to become homophobic, then yes us Asim fans would have a problem with it, so I push aside your counter double standards claim 😉

I do enjoy your older takes this season for the most part. 😊

Yeh kya zabardasti hain that we have to accept he is "wrong" in this incident?! 🤣 ... Yes he is flawed like anyone else! But for this incident it isn't very clear what his intentions were ... plus he apologized readily for the misunderstanding ..... How many times has Paras or Shukla apologized for their "wrong" attitude and remarks made intentionally to hurt Asim ... Zilch! .. That is what sets apart Asim!

Asim may have been wrong couple of times, but I am not going to call Asim "wrong" in this incident just becoz others want me to! Kuch bhi ... 😆 This isn't dictatorship and neither is this incident very clear in terms of right or wrong! .... So my opinion stays the same "He didn't mean to at the same time he also apologized if it offended him" ... That ends the chapter for me! 😛

If others have an issue with my opinion, well too bad you can't make me! 🤣

My expectations are rock bottom when it comes to expecting sensitivity from Sana, Paras, and co.

Even if he didn’t mean to be such though - the “joke” was in bad taste. He was laughing and mocking, and did, therefore, come across as a homophobe. It’s not ok - and what baffles me is the shade on Vikas for taking offense. I mean - seriously? It’s not like he made it up out of thin air - Asim did say it and make those faces. It stands to reason.

If Asim didn’t mean to for it to be a homophobic taunt, it still was a joke in very poor taste. Not expected from Asim particularly, given he’s been a recipient of similar stuff this season. And if it was meant to be a homophobic taunt - well then that’s pretty shitty of Asim, and a right shame because of late, I thought he was better than that.

Vishal, Paras and Shehnaaz - didn’t look good at all regardless of what they were trying to do with that pathetic gossip session later. Sensitivity toh jaise bahar check in karke aaye hain 🥱

ETA: I do like that Asim apologized though - even if it may have been only because he realized he was out of line. What bothers me is not just the mindset, but that it is used to mock those of a certain orientation. Not clear with regards to Asim - but for all the S11 references - it was VERY clear there. Shinde did not just display her homophobia - but actively engaged in homophobic jeering and abuse.

Came across and being one are two seperate shit altogether. Besides I made it pretty clear where Asim's modus operandi is. He was teasing Vikas and they made up for it in the end having fun. Making a big deal over this is idiotic

and yes you do need to mind your business because you are dictating what people should say or do by saying "stop making excuses for him".

Lol please. There were hardly any topics of the homophobic comments Tehseen made. What is actually happening is every small thing Asim does is nitpicked and made a huge deal. Even him breathing air is made a huge deal at this point.

You may think you are not but every post you make clearly gives off that persistence.

Clearly anti Asim because nothing of sorts was published iirc for all of the homophobic allegations directed at Asim by Tehseen and others.

Yeah "admit he was wrong, stop making excuses" comes across looking obnoxious and pretentious. Freedom of speech takes a toss.

They are acting like Thukla with the smug holier than thou attitude dictatorship. This type of behaviour is really sickening.
