And you are right viraf, tooth paste is one of the most important things we used in our daily aspects of life...its protects our teeth from plaque formation, anti bacterial activity, forming a deep cavities inside the tooth, discoloration and many more such things so it's not actually that stupid or dumb things that's been invented...
