Hey everyone,

So far we have seen some similarities in terms of characters and tracks and differences in terms of acting and theme of the show. What really pissed me off about season 1 was that writers started out really good and they had a very good storyline they never finished. I mean maya's past and the trauma and pain attached with it. Maya 1.0 had so many mental and physical scars of her childhood but the writers used it to show just her vulnerability and drive the love track of ArYa. They never really addressed or acknowledged or bothered to heal those scars by developing a story for that to develop her character even further. In season 2, they just made her a villian instead of keeping her grey. Frankly speaking i never liked arjun as a character. He was too selfish, weak willed and confused for my liking.

I hope Maya 2.0 does not get the same treatment and she actually has a storyline with proper closure to that chapter of her past.

Same here. This time a little more balanced and multi dimensional approach please, we don't want white washed and black villainy characters. We want Maya's story

In last season she was the good girl gone bad. This season she has started off as bad. So hopefully they show her journey and give her proper closure.

Last season showed her past as an incident for her present state of mind. But this season is showing her past affecting her state of mind and also her actions driven towards a goal. So we'll get a backstory for sure. Coz there's a backstory. This is a good girl gone bad already, who'll probably attempt to turn good again.

Last season they ruined a good storyline by making a character like Maya so one dimensional. She had full potential to stay grey throughout the show as her past was such that people could have easily tagged her as anti hero rather than villian. Infact mostly all other characters were grey to a certain extent.

Right now they have not revealed much about characters yet so going by the face value i would say rishi and rudra are completely positive while MJ and antara are grey.

I get good guy vibes only from Rudra, and even he isn't completely good is what I think. He does what he does.

I agree. For now he is completely positive but his real test of strength of character and morality will start when he will have to pick sides between his family and truth. It does not matter how good a person is and how much they value truth and morals, when it comes to fighting your own family, most of them become weak and side with family rather than what is right.

So right now us viewers are being shown rudra who values morals, self-respect the most even above his own benefits. So let's see if he is ready to be this same guy or chooses to protect and fight for his family because it is clear that antara is also involved.

Right now he has maya's begrudging trust and respect. It's a start for their story along with the revenge saga Maya is going to write for his family.

If writers treat it right, this storyline has even more potential than the first one and it can turn out to be one of the best show on ITv as it has an amazing cast with good acting skills too.

Precisely. It takes a great deal of courage and mental strength to do what's right. However, what is right and what is wrong is based on perspective. Case for instance, MJ and Rudra. MJ firmly believes what he did in the past was correct. Rudra firmly believes his actions were wrong. So I want to know how they explore this difference of viewpoints in establishing right and wrong.
