You ask where is Laxmi? Last heard in 2018, she was struggling to pay her rent and jobless with a child. She seperated from her partner and he has failed to provide any kind of monetary support to her and their child. No one wants to give her a home or a job because of her face.

I hope Chapaak does touch this aspect of the survivors too instead of making everything sound hunky dory at the end.

Hope this movie changes society / people’s perception of acid victims.. and people should sympathize with them and should try give them some small job atleast to survive..
