Why did mahira give the letter to Asim

The clear reason is ? If she becomes the captain nobody is gonna listen to her .. here atleast she will get audience sympathy.

Maybe because she knew that with she has 0 chance of becoming a captain

She has already done many things with Rashmi so to just compensate,she tried to be mahaan that she isn't🤪

She want to prove rashmi wrong....egoistic nothing else

IMO she really didn't want to do the task for captaincy. She wasn't even taking part in the task n was saying that she couldn't be Janwar for the task. She also wanted the task radd. She doesn't know how to go about the whole captaincy thing without Paras to guide her. So she must have felt, better Asim than her.

So that Asim doesn’t become the captain as he would be obliged to return the favour by giving her her letter

Mahira is nominated and she has to prove to the audience that she is a good girl with a big heart.

Captainship baad ki baat hai, pehle eviction se pehle bachna hai.

Like her Asim is also in the house from day 1 she is longing for her family so she might have thought Asim might also want to hear from his family..she is emotional that’s all..
