I fear Beyhadh 2 will end up like Naagin

Beyhadh 2's themes revolve around justice and hatred. What other shows revolve around justice? Naagin. Bey2 also starts of by implicitly stating Maya's brother and father were killed, a bunch of Naagin shows always start off with a death of a loved one. I do not want Maya to fall in love with Rudra down the line while taking down her ex boyfriend soon to be father in law. 🤢 Like I'm assuring you I do not want to be negative towards the show. I absolutely stan Jennifer Winget! Beyhadh 1.0 is the reason why I root so hard for her. Maybe it's the expectations I have from Bey1 or the repetitive themes I see circulating and polluting ITV waves is probably why I'm nervous for the turnout of the show. We're seven episodes in, and we're gonna have to wait and see.

They didn't say Maya's family is dead. They didn't show them dead. They are alive and they are somewhere else. Didn't you watch the episode when Maya's Mom and Maya were calling the brother? It went to voicemail. Unless of course both Maya and her mother are delusional and they are doing it themselves, calling no one at the other end to wish their dead brother/son for his birthday, that's a different story. 😆 And she's talking about justice but Maya isn't actually being just. Coz it's not Rishi's fault Maya had a horrible past. It's not Rudra's fault (hopefully) that Maya had a horrible past. Maya isn't the torchbearer for righteousness here and that's what makes her different. And no, this isn't going to go THE way you have mentioned. At least I don't think so. 😆

And trust me, people who haven't watched S1 will also be impressed with S2. Hopefully it won't go that way! And we'll have some fun filled six months! 🤗

It’s not necessarily that MJ and Maya has an affair...it is also possible that whoever Maya was in a relationship was wronged and ruined by MJ and Maya is here to take a revenant for that! I’m not completely negating MJ-Maya affair but anything is possible tbh lol and that’s the beauty of this show coz all these possibilities keep us on the edge of the dead while watching the show!!
