She is right .but....I will be honest and say this Zoya needs to acknowledge two things
Her filmmaking has been a journey, this isn’t her first movie ..she faced the very things she states are no more an issue with her first one, it took her years to make Luck by Chance becos no Bollywood hero was willing to play that role..until Farhan and Farhan’s bestie since childhood Hrithik decided to do it. So it’s not so much Ranveer not wanting an intro but it’s Ranveer’s trust on Zoya who is today known to be a remarkable film maker becos she has proven herself with many movies.
The second point is any other filmmaker who doesn’t have a production house backing them will never get these many chances and that is where nepotism and favoritism comes to the fore. There are many many filmmakers who have made excellent first films as good or even better than luck by chance and fade away or even still struggle. Same goes for actors, there are actors who have understood their role and place in their first film and don’t go on to get roles at all.
