I feel there was some alliance where moh wanted some rich guy to marry nivi but nivi didn't want it maybe she broke off that alliance ... That guy got angry and wanted to show nivi in bad light ... so calling this media getting them drunk happened for which the basus had to get them married ..

I feel moh came to the conclusion that it was Pam who did it and brainwashed nivi against pam... Or seeing the length moh can go.. maybe she even knew that it was the other guy who did it but still accused pam so nivi never loves pam as she hates middle class..

pam ne media bulya ya nahi ye toh pam hi jasne but going by pam initial nature aur kuch kaam dham na karne ki aadaat .i feel he trap nivi initial days .but he loves nivi too

They never cleared it up. It would have been good subplot along with AnuPre but these CVs rushed it.
