Oh wow if you put it that way, but I personally feel you are not just dumb but lack guts to speak the truth.....
I feel that was part of the issues in this interview because at one point she does say ask Salman about it. She didn’t want to go on with these line of questioning. Salman Khan is petty and vindictive and he doesn’t take well to any criticism. So any comment on Sonakshi’s part about an older man younger woman would have put her on his 💩 list.
That being said, she’s still sporting the double standard of older man is OK, older woman is not. She’s not alone. This thought process transcends cultures and countries. Some of it is probably rooted in the physiological difference where a woman is limited in time in her ability to bear children whereas a man is not. I’m not arguing right or wrong. A 70 year really shouldn’t become a new father. But biological fact is he can. A 70 year old woman cannot. So older man is OK but not older woman stems from society’s need to procreate. Misogyny, sexism, patriarchy all added to it by many folds. In this example it has also made Sonakshi self loathing where she says at 50 she doesn’t want to work with a 22 year old, but then says Salman looks very young and very good for his age. I wonder if she even realizes what she said and how sexist and just insulting her statement was to all 50 year women.
