It would be odd to see older actress paired with young guys: sonakshi

We have seen Salman Khan romancing Revathi. Revathi is now playing mother of Alia Bhatt but Salman Khan is romancing a 21-year-old you know, so this difference of age gap, has this ever bothered you? Have you ever thought because it never happens the other way around. We never see a Madhuri Dixit romancing Ishaan Khatter. So can you tell me what do you think about it? The age gap is just becoming bigger and bigger.

I think that is kind of the issue - if an older actress romances a younger hero, the age is actually part of the plot line... Like the example you gave

But here the 50 year old men romance 20 year old girls and nowhere does the story allude to the age gap.... Age is not the plot.. So a nishabd pairing makes sense but not a dabang 3.

Time for acrresses to hire script writers invest their own money and develop some good films. Old male actors take risks , invest their money . If actresses want same playing field , they need to start taking risk too . They can hire young or old actor depending on script.

I absolutely loathe any lead pair which has such huge gap.

I agree age should be the central plot to such stories but I don't even think Indian society can accept such stories.
