In the name of TRP’s

Firstly, it’s no one’s but my own fault who chose to watch another Gul’s show after she butchered IPKKND- ruined those two characters but at least Arnav was a good husband and he only married Khushi forcefully he didn’t kicked her out multiple times - she left on her own.

Here, it is very painful to watch Roshni being treated like a doormat in fact worse than a doormat. Aman shows some cute features, she falls for that, and back to usual brooding self. I get the hug was terrible, it raised huge doubts but why can’t a smart nawab think beyond that? Why would a gold digger who apparently loves another save your family member? Why would she just cry and not say anything?

Anyway, it’s moot now because poor Roshni got kicked out twice in two nights. No one appreciates or respects her and it’s sad that in this century this garners more TRP’s. It’s a show thank goodness because if it was a reality twitteratis would have created a storm.

I just hope please please Roshni stay away it’s just not worth it - when a man says we were never anything and will never ever be anything, listen and move on. You are not his rehab!!!!

How utterly disgusting is this that Aman will realise his love when she dies!!!! She is better if without it.

The actors are doing amazing job and I really love them and their chemistry but it’s just too much specially with the current climate where men are treating women like their personal property. It’s fiction but I am out. I rather watch something where respect of a woman garners TRP’s not her being treated like crap.

After a break I decided to watch the show today. I was hoping it must have come around by now....But to my utter disappointment...its singing the same song with new tunes! All these days I was wondering what is wrong with me..why I m not enjoying the show when everyone else is gaga over it... TRP is skyrocket and all that..BUt I guess I have grown out of watching mindless high octane dramatic shows..thats what is the flavor of YJHJK these days..!

I also watched IPKKND 1 year ago...i liked it although it was a bit boring towards the end after 200 episodes...

Yes. I have stopped watching the show until this drama is over. I can't help blame Roshni too. She loves her mom but that doesn't mean she has to hide her mistakes. She should have told Aman the truth. Being respectful to elders is one thing and bearing insults is another. They keep kicking her out and she keeps coming back like it is nothing

Same I didn’t watch this all last week and thought something would have given - but nope, it’s same ole name calling and watch a girl getting trashed again.

They also ruined blackmail message - I would have loved had Sameer been punished but here the message is if someone blackmails you then you pay them off!!!!

IPK towards the end sucked and I was very vocal about arnav being stupid but Aman tops him as he is cruel. Khushi fought back and never put up with his crap here Roshni cries and cries and never says a word. Khushi was fiesty and smart sadly Roshni with her angel’s heart is naive and not very smart and so everyone takes advantage of that.

Gul gives what audiences love and how weird is this that the taste are still the same what they were back in 2010? I don’t find it cute when one minute Aman insults her then does ga ga eyes and all is forgiven. It’s called gaslighting and it’s sad to watch on screen.

I wonder if the leads know how they are being made a caricature of a “love” story! What love? Right now it’s not even like - Aman has no feelings towards Roshni so it doesn’t matter. He should marry Adaah and go to hell with her for all I care. Maybe this new entry Arhaan will turn positive in the end and him and Roshni can have a good life - plus she doesn’t have to die either .

This is definitely not a magical story, more like a nightmarish story.

Yes I agree but that does not give them right to treat her like this. Roshni is very literal and doesn’t think but Aman and his family are cruel and that’s not right.

The whole premise of realising love when one dies is so archaic - it’s like doing agnee pariksha isn’t it? Prove your worth then I will love you. Is that even love when it comes with condition?

I guess I am bit more sentimental today after the sad case in Hyderabad so watching a woman treated like this is unnerving. Those two sisters are such sorry cases too - so a girl is marrying into a family where they disrespected her sister in law. She deserves them too. Let lal chaand raat come and ruin the juniads minus the kid he is innocent in this - adaah can have Aman they both deserve each other .

Nice post.And the sad part is the makers of this show is herself a woman and the TRP people also mainly consists of woman population.so Its ultimately a woman showing another woman been used a doormat and other women (including me though sometimes I watch it) watch the show and encourage them by contributing to the TRP and motivating them to show such things.

Unless the mentality of the people who are watching such shows change the makers will keep showing us.

Such a wrong message it gives to the society that your husband can insult you and throw you out of the house but you will not give him back rather than crying.

I completely understand that when a person in love we usually forgive the opposite person mistakes but it doesn’t mean that you have to be in that abusive relationship.its the person responsibility that you should make the other person realize his/her mistakes.

Yep you got that right she has no self respect but that still doesn’t give them the right to treat her so bad. They have daughters too imagine tomorrow aftab starts doing this to saima? Kicks her out and then brings her back kicks her out and brings her back and looks cute - will a man tolerate that? So why give Roshni such treatment just because she keeps mum? That bothers me more than anything sadly.

Thank you and agree with you 100% here and isn’t it sad that in the name of love all is forgiven? Right now I don’t know what’s happening with this show - so many baddies, the jinn’s cameos, the flip flopping and love is no where in the horizon. Forget love I doubt Aman even respects Roshni. I also don’t see why it’s okay to treat Roshni like this but his sisters God forbid - now I want aftab to do this to saima see what Aman says then?

Gul never had any good message in her stories - I don’t know but it’s very creepy that all of her shows are exactly the same - this one has that fantasy element but it’s ipk in 2019.

Now that love tree is burned too - good as those buds were never going to grow anyway . I hope this show is not extended though because knowing Gul she will stretch this until the last episode last second and apology will be of one minute and then THE END

The best part is Jinn story is moving forward and is most interesting and only sensible part of show. RoshAn toh anyways have lost their essence only, like I told Aman doing random stuff, like making him black forcefully and making Roshni white makes no sense. Plus they separate for the sake and again come back, no consistency. Trps are definitely going to fall this week or the next.

All this would have been sorted if they would have told Aman and he would have solved everything. Also he would have stood up for family and said, and explained to Saima where there have been so many compromises before, no point going ahead and break the marriage and Saima is mature. But this would have been a sensible and a practical track, so Roshni would not have got a chance to cry so much, family would have been good and there would not have been sympathy for her or any misunderstanding track. So they didn't show.

We can just see once in a while for acting or making creations. Generally I love angst scenes or sad intense scenes but if they are executed well, not such forced scenes or tracks!

Guess reading a good novel, starting a different show is good. After seeing this show, really feel how brilliant a few shows were executed, like Jndsd got least trps but show was wholesome and consistency was fabulous!
