the most popular picture of Ram, sit aand laxman is Ram moving in front-follwoed by sita and laxman at last

well philosophers have given a wonderful analysis of this too

according to them and as we all know-Ram represents Paramatma

Laxman stands for jibatma(human beings)

devi sita is Shakti-anotehr form of Shakti is maya. mahashakti keeps us in illusion with teh world and so we cannot view Paramatma as and when we chose

to tear open thsi illusion, laxman worships sita. When sita is pleases,s he steps aside and laxman gets a GLimpse of Ram

that is , we have to please mahashakti and with ehr aid only can we attain supreme salvation

this shows how much respect have been kept for Women in ancient India
though sita had to withstand a lot of injustice in the ahnds of her beloved husband ram too, still she symbolises the ervpwoerful Power of Women-without which neitehr the society nor the men can progress

very true !! SITAJI was the main power of RAMJI ,SITAJI was the shakti of RAMJI .

IT'S SOOOO depressing & sooooooooooooooo sad tht becaz of the ayodhya ppl RAMJI has to leave his beloved wife SITAJI ,tht's one mystery of RAMJI which i still cudn't understand ,why RAMJI did tht to his sweety & dear wife SITAJI ????

I KNOW IT WAS THE TOUGHEST decision tht RAMJI TOOK IN HIS LIFE ,RAMJI CRIED BIG TIME for being soooooooooooo harsh on his life SITAJI !!ut becaz of his beloved praja (ayodhya ppl) he took such a harsh step in his life .

well, to eb a ruler and to be honored by your subordinates people need to make some tough decisions sometimes-to be great, greta men ja\hs to do great sacrifices and these great sacrifices are of magnanimous proportions
if ramji had not ahd devi sita exiled, then people would haev talked, may be not in front but at back and in time their respect and submission to him would have stopped
