This was born out of another discussion that I was having with Autumn. It took on a life of it's own as I kept writing and it turned out to be so tragic, I'm left crying again.
I'm so sorry the writers did you so wrong Babita. If anyone deserved a happy, love filled ending, then it was you.
It might not make sense but I don't really have the energy to format it correctly. I guess it's the essence that matters, and those who truly care about Babita will understand.

- You got married at eighteen and became a mother at nineteen
- You lived the next seventeen years waiting for your husband to come home by slaving away for your in-laws and bearing the taunts and insults of your sister-in-law
- You found out that the husband you were awaiting was actually cheating on you for the last ten years of your marriage
- The in-laws that you slaved away for, accepted the other woman and didn't even support you or stop you when you decided to leave home
- You get kicked out of your own maternal home and have the fact that it belongs to you kept hidden from you
- So now you're out on the streets with your teenage daughter, searching for a new place to live
- You finally find a respectable home to stay at and all people can do is talk shit about your character and link you up to the landlord who, out of the kindness of his heart, decided to shelter you
- Your husband keeps dropping by and makes a scene to further humiliate you in public
- When you're applying for divorce, your husband degrades you by insinuating that you're a characterless woman who's going around sleeping with men in exchange for favors
- Then, in front of your teenage daughter, and other friends, family, and complete strangers, he verbally strips you naked
- Still, you fight against him and get the divorce
- You apply for a job, fight against the harsh circumstances there and succeed
- When you leave, you find another job, where again you are sexually harassed
- So you leave that job, and plan to open up your own shop where you can utilize your hidden talents
- Again, you succeed and you can finally see yourself being happy again
- You find out that your daughter is depressed, and do everything you can to help her come out of it
- You find out that she was harassed at school, so you do everything you can to help fight for her honor
- You find out that she was having trouble getting an admission in college, so you do everything you can to help her get in because you know how important having an education is
- When things are going fine, your ex husband gets involved with the wrong side of the law, which has a detrimental affect on your daughter
- So for your and her sake, you send him away to London so that he can never bother you two again
- Doing so, you finally feel liberated. You are the freest you have ever been
- You finally start living again, and go as far as allowing yourself to open up opportunities you had closed before
- Your daughter needs to be hospitalized and you feel as if your whole world has come crashing down but luckily it didn't last long
- She recuperates and along with it your will to live
- With everything going right again, you begin seeking someone out. You didn't mean to, but you do
- A night filled with unspoken passion transpires between you and him, and slumbered desires awaken once more
- You feel frightened at first, and undeserving of that kind of love and attention
- Still, you take a chance and call for him.
- He answers, and brings with him a world full of opportunities. He brings a love that was foreign to you but you desperately want a taste of it
- You start making advances towards him albeit slowly
- Then his dark past surfaces and he pushes you away in an ugly manner. Still, you help him make amends with his father-in-law and decide to leave for your own self-respect
- You're instead accused of being egoistic by your childhood friend and daughter
- You put his harsh words behind you and propose to him
- He accepts, and everything moves at maximum drive
- Wedding celebrations start but you're still struggling to keep up
- You see him flirting and wonder if he'll turn out like your ex husband. Without thinking twice, you lay out your insecurity and are instead viewed wrongly.
- You ask him for his apology and he gives it to you, and you're relieved, knowing he'll always choose you, not his ego, like your ex husband did
- You see the celebrations going on, hear people's gossips and begin to wonder if what you're doing is the right thing. You get second thoughts even though you want it so badly. You keep looking towards your daughter, wanting to know if what you're doing is the right thing
- You look at the biggest to smallest things, looking for signs that may indicate a horrible marriage. After all, you don't want to go through your first marriage all over again
- Your ex sister-in-law comes around and insinuates you've been a characterless woman by engaging in a love affair when the truth is anything but. Still, you tolerate her once more because of the smile she brings on your daughter's face
- The wedding day arrives and you are moved by how lovingly your fiancee looks at you. Your daughter's speech brings you to tears and you wonder how you got so lucky
- Then comes the CD that crashes everything
- You run away because all the bitter old memories resurface
- You cry your heart out to your fiancee because you had wanted just one day where you weren't surrounded by old reminders
- Your fiancee asks your daughter how the CD came to the venue and you're shocked. Your sister-in-law taunts your fiancee of being a typical step-father and you lose it on her, and on your ex in-laws for being so nasty to you. You let out everything that you had kept hidden in your heart
- You finally get married and it's not the happiest day of your life
- You cling to the one thing that has always meant the most to you - your daughter - by pushing away the one man whom you truly love, your now husband
- You continue to push him away because you still need time to settle in with him. You're scared to be with just him because you've never done that before. Certainly not with someone who loved you back just as much as you do him
- But he doesn't judge you, he understands and is willing to give you as much time as you need
- You feel comfortable around him and start spending more time with him
- You want to bask in his love but you're told that you're neglecting everything else
- You don't want your daughter to spend time with your ex in-laws but are accused of being selfish by her
- You don't want others to question your daughter's character but unfortunately end up doing the same
- You fall ill and forget your daughter's eighteenth birthday. You try to make it up as you usually do but are told that it's not enough. You need to do more
- You're asked by your husband to care for his family and you do, but it's at the cost of running your shop
- You realize you have no desires of running it anymore since you no longer feel financially threatened
- You wish to give it up completely but your daughter refuses to listen
- You change your surname by adding your husband's but your daughter thinks you're losing your identity when you don't think so
- Your sister-in-law comes around asking you to sign over your share of your maternal home and you do so, not seeing the problem in it while your daughter does. So you argue with her too
- Seeing no reason to run the business, you sell it, whilst hurting your daughter's feelings
- You try so hard to hold onto your daughter and husband, because you don't want this marriage to fail like it did the first time
- You don't want to give people the chance to talk or accuse you of being a failure. Your first marriage failing wasn't your fault. Your husband cheating on you wasn't your fault. Your family being fractured, wasn't your fault
- Still, it failed. Despite your efforts, you couldn't keep it together.
- Your daughter leaves, your husband doesn't want to talk to you, you're left alone in an empty home
- You fight with him, then make up, but nothing feels right anymore
- Then news arrive that you're pregnant and you find hope again
- The hope and will power to do better, to be better
- So you make amends with old friends, and start your business anew
- This time you do it alone so you're not indebted to anyone
- This time you do it so that your children are proud of you
- This time you do it so that when they see you, they don't see a failure or a disappointment
- Your daughter comes home and you have so much you want to say, so much you want to show and yet you can never bring up the courage to do so. What if she no longer feels the same way? What if she no longer cares? What if she finds it all to be pointless?
- Next time, you tell yourself
- You carry on and you raise your little one to be the best she can be. You give her all your love and all your attention and remind her of your inspiration: your first born
- News arrives of your daughter being back and yet not telling you
- This was it, you decide. This time you will tell everything you couldn't before. This time you will show her just how much she means to you and how much you accomplished because of her. This time you will bring her back and make her a part of your family again
- You go with your husband carrying eager hearts filled with hopes of a better, love filled future
- Your daughter finally comes back but you don't
- You never come back
- You never got to show her your new accomplishments, or share your new dreams or shower her with all the love that she missed out on
- You never got to see both your daughters stay with your husband and you as a happy family
- You never see her or your family again, and you never got the chance to say sorry or how you love them all with every fiber of your being
- You never come back because you die and that is how your story ends
