Happy Thanksgiving.
Clinical Depression and Parveen: Through Dadi’s and Aman’s conversation, we are informed that Parveen suffers from clinical depression. It is also apparent that Parveen is no longer under a doctor’s care for illness, no medication, no therapies. For a caring and loving family, why aren’t they seeing that Parveen is given proper medical attention. This is something the CVS need to address especially since the only symptom of clinical depression that she has exhibited is a mood swing, which really just comes across as bitterness from her own past instead of a true mood swing. I say this that mood swings are not just contained to one person. Parveen does not display any other symptoms of clinical depression, thus, she comes a cross as just a mean nasty person that is common senseless.
Roshni: Therr is absolutely nothing wrong with being nice, EXCEPT when used as an excuse to be a door mat and punching bag for everyone. CVs need to fix this. Roshni’s character needs to be more assertive, self defensive and respected. She needs to stand up to Parveen and Aman. Even if neither will believe her at this point, but Aman should via common sense. Roshni should be shown more interested in herself in the aspect of her being ayaana, finding out about her real parents, what powers she actually possess, and how to harness those powers. No one else really needs to know this part for now, except the audience. And it can be used to make Aman jealous as he wants to know what Roshni is upto, but can’t figure it out because she is ayaana. Roshni needs to be shown that becuase she is not a “dance girl/bad girl” she will take her right as Aman’s wife, Roshni Aman Junaid Khan. It’s hers, there is no need to wait for anyone to give her, her place as Aman’s wife, when she already is, even if it was through a deal. I would like to see Roshni out Adaa in her place.
CVS across the board need to stop showing women as helpless beings becuase WE ARE NOT!! Get it over!
I think that’s it for today.
