Why have they changed Tulsi Vibe

The amount of times Mihir shouted at Tulsi why can’t she mentioned how he cheated and got Mandira Pregnant

It’s not yet explained but I suppose the change in the vibe is because Tulsi in a way is all alone here. Previously she had a support system in Baa, eventually even Savita got around to her side despite their squabbles. And once she had Savita on her side, Daksha and Gayatri also were alright. Daksha as it is was always nice to her but didn’t mind joining Savita as she obviously felt compelled to be more loyal to Savita than Tulsi.

Besides the women in the family among the elders, even the men were pretty much with her. Mansukh, JD, Himmat always treated Tulsi well as did Bapuji. Amongst her own generation which included Mihir’s younger brother Kiran, his cousins and their spouses, Tulsi pretty much got along well with everyone and despite the occasional squabbles and disputes there was not much of a drama there. Whether it was Payal or Mandira, whenever any other woman was threatening Mihir and Tulsi’s marriage, her in-laws stood with her, especially her Devars and devranis as they’d pretty much grown up with Tulsi as a friend.

When the generation leap happened, barring Mohini, Trupti and Ansh, Tulsi never had anyone who was against her. Yes, there were rough patches in her relationship with all the kids at some point even with her DILs but when it came down to it most of them would support Tulsi in any situation even against Mihir.

This time around Tulsi is alone with Mihir and a huge house with not enough people. She’s perhaps also indebted to Mihir for accepting her niece and nephews as family and adopting them. Amongst those kids, Rithik is the one son who stands by her always but he lacks the same fire and zeal that say a Karan or a Gautam had in such instances. There is no real weight in his voice. Angad is very dicey as he is not seen particularly close to either parent unlike his younger siblings who clearly have picked sides and a favourite, wherein Pari clearly takes undue advantage of Mihir’s affection to the max level.

She’s older, in a way lonelier and so far has felt Mihir’s reactions while overblown are all coming from a place of love meant for his children. She’s understanding and more somber as well as mellow in her responses because somewhere she perhaps also feels weighed down by her feelings of guilt regarding the hurt she’s caused Mihir, not just once but twice over when she killed his son and mother too.

Taunting him with Karan’s birth will not make Mihir understanding or accept any actions of his regarding Pari as a mistake. Rather it will just make matters worse. It will hurt Karan if he ever finds out about the argument and embarrass him as well as his children.

Tulsi does speak up when necessary and she can make Mihir eat his words without resorting to yelling, screaming or taking below the belt potshots at him like when she had the conversation with him about not being paid to run the family and taking care of everyone. How even their children have pocket money but she manages the expenses of the household but it’s not her money and Mihir was immediately chagrined about his behaviour and never raised the topic ever again.

Right now they’re just not writing those kind of scenes again because they want to build up the drama to give a satisfying experience to the audience when Tulsi finally confronts Mihir.
