I've been a silent stalker in this forum but have been following this show since the beginning. Today after watching the first episode since the leap I was left quite disheartened, which I'm sure a lot of you also felt. Anyways, as I was watching the episode a few thoughts came to my mind and I just wanted to share it here. Apologies if its already been discussed before...
1. Yesterday's episode ended with a cliffhanger at the airport and today's started with Abir's dream. Was it really a dream or the plot twist of the leap I wonder?... If Abir did indeed get to airport in time and if Mishti did see him,there's no way he could have hidden the truth of Meenus ultimatum from Mishti after having ran all the way to get a last glimpse of her! She would have read him like an open book. And given the high emotions he was rolling in to see her one last time, he would have spilled the truth... So we'll have wait for the CVs to clear this one for us. Did they have one last conversation or not?
2. The dream was probably one of the most beautiful Misbhir scenes ever! ! I like how scene was almost symbolic. Mishti was the Princess locked away in a castle and Abir her Prince Charming who was the only one who knew the password to enter. In reality the castle (house) is Abir's mind where he has locked up the memory of the love of his life.. His mind that only he has access to and nobody else. He dreams of a scene which we all hoped for..where Mishbir are still together and everyone else is unaware of it. Mishti still had her engagement ring on.. He remembered her the way he saw her last.. It was beautifully sweet and sad at the same time.... And can I just say, that smile that Mishti had on her face when she saw Abir.. Oh. My. Gosh.. It was as if he held the key to all her happiness! The look of sheer joy of seeing him in front of her pinched my heart! It was so beautifully shot! Rhea was brilliant!
3. A few of you have been talking about Mishti-Nannu pair... But didn't Nannu marry Karthiks cousin (can't remember her name) in the parent show?? If I remember correctly it was during one of their separation tracks.
4. Anybody who knows Abir the slightest would know that Mishti meant the world to him. He was willing to leave his family for her... Yet after a mere 2 months of their 'breakup' he's shown smiling with joy and entertaining a friend. How is his family not seeing through this facade?!? Maybe it's still early days... I'll wait for a few more episodes before judging. But going back to some of the early episodes.. Naanu was so in sync with Abir's feelings. Infact he realised Abir loved Mishti even before Abir did! Where has that Naanu disappeared?? I think if they showed this leap track perhaps 10months or a year after their separation then maybe, just maybe, it would have been slightly (very slightly) easier to digest. But for Abir to behave this way after 2 months makes his love for Mishti look like a high school crush which was very easy to get over!....That I could not digest, and I can't imagine how his family could have!
5. I didn't like Abir being so friendly with Neha. I'm sorry, but I feel fiercely loyal to Mishbir and cannot stand to see them with anybody else. I didn't not like the scene where abir was showing neha how 'romantic' her sangeet would be. I know I know...the makers are trying to give us the false impression that the sangeet is abir and nehas, hence all the drama.. But all I felt like doing watching the scene was to roll my eyes!
Sorry for the long post guys.. .Mishbir's journey has been so beautiful so far, and for the CVs to bring about this abrupt halt and reboot has left me with mixed feelings. I simply miss them...
