The juice is all there in the replies. One thing I haven't done is to post the screenshots of her several messages to me (which I haven't answered to this day). I won't do that out of respect for an individual.

And IMPORTANLY I wish people would not see me posting this as a "hater" - I don't dislike her, this is not some personal vendetta.

My story is, I have an elder cousin who used to collect film magazines since she was a kid until she got married. One summer, I spent a few days going through them all and somehow I retained a lot of the information I got from them. And then when Wikipedia came about (provided the sources were legit) I kind of became obsessed with Bollywood trivia. I remember things too, like birth dates.

So when I watched some Raveena interviews, she was saying things like:

• she had a successful modelling career before joining films (she said her first ad she played a supermodel getting out of a fancy car - but she signed her first film according to her at 15 years old, so how could she play a supermodel aged 14 or 13)

• she refused several film offers before signing her debut

• she was considered not good-looking, and she was overweight so no guy fancied her (she's gotta be at least 16 at this reference point right?)

• she has also stated in a VIDEO'd interview which is on YOUTUBE right now, where she says "Ajay Devgan was in college with me".

So tell me, how did she go through her "ugly duckling" phase + go to COLLEGE with Ajay Devgan + have a transformation + play a supermodel in her first ad + refuse several film offers before signing Patthar Ke Phool when she was BARELY 15?!?!?!

So basically I noticed this, and a few years ago I tweeted her "Happy Birthday" with the correct age (can't remember if she was 45 or whatever) and she tried to correct me. But I spilled the tea and then she DM'd me.

There is also more to the story but I NEVER reveal all, especially for free.

Nothing new in Glamor world - even if she is hiding her age which I highly doubt what’s the big deal - she is not the first one and won’t be the last one 😆

No. Actresses do. It's a sad state of affairs.

It is Bollywood's MISOGYNY which is at fault here. When Raveena started out in films, she was probably just 20 years old. BUT all her contemporaries were 15/16/17 so she decided it would be better to cut her age to give her an even chance before becoming "tool old" to dance around trees with Govinda/Akshay/Salman etc.

Raveena's birth date in 24th October. She claims 1974. I dispute this.

Divya Bharti, Karisma Kapoor, Kajol, Urmila Matondkar, Nagma were all born in 1974. Does she really look 6 months younger than them if you look at their pics from the same era?) Aishwarya Rai and Mahima Chaudhry were born in 1973. Ayesha Jhulka was born in 1972. Tabu was born in 1971. Manisha Koirala was born in 1970. I believe Raveena was born in 1969 (same year as Ajay Devgan).

Shraddha Kapoor tried to do the same after Aashiqui 2's success. She changed all her online info to "1992" but she got caught and changed it back to 1987. Raveena should do the same. It's dishonest.

All the facts are clearly on show, but you "highly doubt" - okay.

What's the big deal you ask? Nothing much, just DISHONESTY. It's not as important to all, clearly.
