I agree with everything you said but regarding finding happiness in some form, wasn't Mini happy for one second in all five years pursuing her passion? Being a travel photographer was her dream. Fulfilling it must have given her say atleast 1% happiness. That's how everyone finds happiness in worst of conditions. It's not like HS and Babitha were the only one to find happiness and she always had HS on her side and it's shown that he had tried to bridge the gap. Please don't mistake me, I am not trying to justify what HS and Babitha did .
And most importantly no matter what CVs tried to show about Babitha I wouldn't believe for a second a mother's heart doesn't ache for estranged child. It's impossible for even for worst of mothers. ( I am a mother myself and at times selfish and ignorant towards my child. So I guess I have some authority to say this.)
Yes, Mini left in the most worse way possible, but she did get an opportunity to chase her dreams, something she always wanted to do. She got to travel the world, be a photographer for a renowned travel magazine. I am not gonna say Mini wasn't happy in those 5 years. Of course, she missed her Mother and Hanuman Uncle a lot, and yes her journey would have been smoother if things were ok with her and her mother, but that doesn't mean Mini didn't live her life in the past 5 years. She got freedom and independence to live her life in her own terms. Similarly, HS and Babita, of course missed and longed for Mini everyday, but doesn't mean they stopped living their life. It doesn't work like that. Her work and school and friends kept Mini distracted, similarly Hanita sort of moved on (from what happened) with time as well. Arya came in the picture and they got busy with raising her. All of this doesn't mean, they didn't miss Mini or didn't long for Mini, or didn't think about Mini.
@Bold - Exactly! I don't believe that Babita didn't miss Mini, or longed for Mini or her heart didn't ache for Mini every second of the day. Even Arya noticed that "Mamma hamesha Mini Mini karti rehti thi".
