To be very honest , I don’t feel it’s bad per se but the attitude of wannabeness around HW celebs plus this aura of being inferior is what is weird. You can celebrate each other without coming across as super desperate and seek validation .

Also, Katy Perry is anything but a has been. People like to throw in numbers to prove the worth so she is roughly 300milliom and same goes for Will Smith. Just because Will’s movies have flopped doesn’t make him a has been. Going by the same logic then certain King Khan is a has been too 😂😂😂

Funny , as far as i am concerned , the scenario which you mentioned is the farthest thing from what i would usually consider "cringe" , opposite of cringe , quite sweet actually , "awww" kinda thing.

No she is not a has been, she is still Katy Perry you cannot take away what someone has done, she still pulls in huge crowds at a fair amount of dollars per ticket, she still has her money and her fans. Besides no human being is irrelevant in particular not one who has been as favored by life.

BUT

I do cringe at the fawning and the exaggerated flattery or obsequious, attention. I am not a fan of Perry, in fact I despise her lack of values and her ideology, I think she is spiritually alienated and just wrong in so many ways, for sure she is not a role model who has anything worthy to offer anyone in India, being lost and confused herself. Why I wonder do they roll out the red carpet for such people? To someone stupid like her, its probably a tourist attraction...kind of thing.

p.s. She looks bloated and who ever dressed her is not her friend...
