Summed it up beautifully:) As both of you have already pointed out, for some moments HS was actually stunned to hear the confession from Mini that he was her hero, her idol. Reminds me of the scene 2 weeks back when he was so scared to ask her if he was still her hero😭

The second set of gifs are my favorite. A true parent never cares about oneself when your child is in pain, that was him throughout the hospital track! You both have described these scenes so beautifully that I have nothing more to add anymore;) Just wanted to say, loved how he was constantly trying to pacify her while calling 'beta', I think it was the first time he did it, correct me if I am wrong though!

Yep, that is exactly where the parallel was coming from. I was reminded of the same. This expression holds all the more meaning now

As for ā€œbetaā€, I think he called her that when he was consoling her during the Lohri scene as well. Not sure, but I think I heard him say beta then.

Regardless, it really fills my heart to hear him call her that šŸ¤—

This... It can be heard in her voice and seen in her eyes. The way she was looking at him during the GP was just... ā¤ļø

Yes, especially the way she called him "Hanuman Uncle" in this bit.....it had a world of love in it.

She has never called Ashok Papaji with even half the emotion....before or after the divorce.

I do think HS senses her love for him....but at the same time, given his own complicated history with his father, he fears the pull of blood to blood. When you love someone that much, your fear of losing them does cloud your judgement.

All he needs to hear from her just once is something beyond, "Mujhe pata hai aap meri kitni care karte ho, main bhi aapki care karti hoon"....these are general terms.....they both need to clearly articulate to each other why their relationship is on its own special plane. Dunno if we will get that in this last stretch though....lol I'm not hoping for much now.

Either it will be major heartbreak with a scene that mirrors one their beautiful moments from the past or it will be a very simple gesture with a wealth of meaning or emotion that shows them become father-daughter.

Yeah, it was even in the Lohri scene too. He had tears in his eyes seeing her in that state, even though he hadn't known her for that long. Their connection is THAT strong.

Somehow I feel that even if she leaves in anger, she will never be able to full break away from HS. He gave her a sense of purpose whenever she was lost and down and she knows he's always going to care for her.

No matter what....beyond all blood ties, descriptions of thick friendship, hero worship, support system etc etc, to me these two will always be the greatest relationship in this story. Period.

HS ki biological daughter can be cute but mere dimaag mein original and pehli beti Mini hi rahegi....she didn’t need a biological connection to be like him or love him. So that is more special to me.

I don’t think she will break ties with HS. He will likely encourage her to leave for her own sake, given how Babita has totally unraveled now.

And the leap promo makes it obvious that HS very much lives on in her personality.

Completely agree with you. I feel exactly the same way. It was the greatest relationship not just in this story but will hold up against many more to come on ITV, I bet.

I am really hoping he backs her. It is the only thing that makes sense and he would want to protect her from Babita now.

@bold can you elaborate?

Yeah, the attention to details is so so impressive. I laud those who do the set pieces and put the scenes together too.

To me, the promo just had HS ka aura all over it. And the most in the moment when Mini called the kid ā€œchutankiā€ with a snap of her fingers.

I guess Apna Apna perception hota hai. Others see HS in his biological daughter. I see HS in every gesture of Mini because they were just naturally similar personalities and she imbibed his traits over time....not through a DNA connection.
