No. Alia had some personality when she was launched. She was also the only over protected pampered child in the industry. She was like Poo and Kareena put together (ik they are the same person 😆). People found it cute. Not anymore, with so many star kids around.

Plus the draggy blonde way she talks is annoying AF 😆

no, because Ananya is more like Sonam, not in terms of looks but audience connect, matlab she made no connect with the audience, uppar se kuch ziyada lambi and not really an appealing physique. And to top it off, she has got an image of being an annoying woman child with no brain.

Alia debuted in good movie also she proved her acting ability by that Highway movie and she is going good with good movies and hot boyfriend,,,,

But Ananya debut was flop dont know about her acting talent she really need to calm down and concentrate on her talent rather than social media, selfie with Kartik, negative opinion, etc. she is behaving like a kid,

Probably not and it’s not because of any lack of effort by Dharma. KJo is really trying. But social media is a very different beast now compared to 7 years ago. From allegations of bullying to the nepotism debate, propping up Ananya seems like a bigger challenge than Alia ever was. Also Alia’s screw up (KWK flub) was all about her and harmless so making a video to make fun of herself just made her seem very appealing and gave her charm and personality. Bullying someone is a very big deal and not harmless or victimless at all, her So+ campaign hasn’t really done much for her image so there’s that.

Back to the main question, in terms of talent, too early to tell. Ananya might surprise us. But in terms of popularity I doubt it. For one thing Alia’s own image has taken a setback and comparing Ananya to Alia doesn’t have the same excitement that comparing Alia to Kareena had. Ironically being associated with KJo also brings with it a degree of negativity these days. It might benefit Ananya if she lets her films work in her favor organically instead of having KJo prop her up at every opportunity either directly or via blinds.
