Passing the Shikhar By IndiaFM News Bureau, November 1, 2005 - 09:30 IST There was a lot of speculation months ago on what was going to be the name of John Mathew Matthan' film starring Ajay Devgan and Shahid Kapoor. After a lot of media speculation, the cat was left out of the bag and was titled Shikhar. What was the cause of the delay for such a long time? For one, the title was being passed on by quite a few producers. Subhash Ghai was the first one to buy the rights of the title. He even launched a film by the same name starring Jackie Shroff but it never got made. Then the title was passed onto Ram Gopal Varma and finally obtained by Matthan. With so much demand for the title by ace film-makers, let's hope the film does justice to it.
