Come on, a lot of mid 30ish women get pregnant real fast (except for those who by that time got like 6 children)... So I don't think that's much of a concern. It's much more disturbing if it's just another item on Babita’s mental list of marriage duties which she want to tick off. Also, children put a lot of stress on any relationship so she should first make sure nothing is building up upfront.

However by that logic one should not bother to get a second child at all. I also think that communicating something like that to Minnie is important but she's another child so she shouldn't get to actually make that decision.

Yeah, but according to Babita her marriage is perfectly fine, she's madly in love with her husband who adores her, life is good.

I think Saroj must have told her that she should have a kid quickly so that she can tie HS down and make sure he doesn't leave her.
