I still think she should have told either HS or NB what's on her mind, even if she's not sure. They both would have understood and she knows that very well.

But Minnie is very close to Babita. Babita has already expressed her opinion in not wanting her to go but she hasn't put forth her wishes or desires. Unless she voices them out how will Babita know what she wants? Heck, Minnie should tell this to HS too so that she can get some sort of support from somewhere.

Babita is bound to be on her "no" jaap at the beginning but when she sees how it will benefit Minnie in the long run, she would say yes. Naeem Bi can help her out in the matter too since she's been living away from Irfaan all this time.

The thing is that the writers have messed up Babita far too much. Now no matter what the situation arises, she will never be presented as the mature one. She'll always be the one who needs to be coddled and have things explained to. Even then she won't understand and put on childish tantrums.

Everything is a mess. All the characters have been butchered to some point or another and now drama is being created for the sake of drama.

Totally agree, and even if Babita throws a tantrum she has the right to know. Australia is not next door.

Loved it! Now THATS a proper mother-daughter bond that’s not in any way one sided. Coincidentally, the mother in that show is rather immature compared to the daughter (similar to babita-mini) but there’s no extremes about it, and it’s beautifully written
