HS doesn't have a problem with her not keeping his name. He only feels resented by the fact that he is not important to Mini anymore and is not included in her life decisions. When the fact is that Mini would be nothing career wise or relationship wise without HS ka intervention and constant support. Right from not jailing her for beating Khatri, to coaching her for sports quota to fighting alongside her against her depression, getting her admission done to sharing problems with her, and also taking up Babita's responsibility. There is SOOOO much he has done for her.

Yeah, KK forgets he's a police inspector. No one would know the law better. Besides, the way he suspected that Minnie was going to spring a surprise on them, this should not be one for him.
