Box office India vs Taran Adarsh : Who is more credible?

Well, one thing is clear now that you can't fully trust any trade site or analyst for box office figures. But still box office is fun to talk about so we have to believe someone even if they are not 💯% credible when talking about movie collections.

Two of the biggest names who are trusted by people when it comes to box office numbers are Box office India and Taran Adarsh. Who is more credible according to you?

Taran Adarsh numbers are always a little higher than BOI.

Both suck. Komal Nahta's annual classification in Film Information is the real deal.

Taran is pretty big deal. He is the face of Indian box office tracking. Even recognized by the PM himself.

Taran Adarsh just gives producers figures, which the producers manipulate quite often. BOI has their own mechanism of doing the calculations, but they're extremely partisan, unprofessional and work on the basis of vendetta against a certain clique of stars/filmmakers that they don't approve of.

Both are bad but BOI is actually worse.

Agree- both suck! There's no one who one should trust when it comes to BO figures.
