I think Naren has valid points .. to no want Sonakshi as a part of family .. What I don't understand is why does he go about doing this cloak and dagger stuff . Why can't he simply sit down with his family ..share his concerns ask their opinions and finally have a solution

Maybe if he approached the family about Prenup and stuff they may disagree at first but may come around his thinking

The thing is his dark past may or may not be with an actress but as a father he should be able to talk to his son and be happy for his son

Everyone sees how much in love Rohit and Sonakshi are and like any other couple they'll have problems . Why not support them . Being a businessman he can sit down with Rohit YK and Rohan and talk how to solve or manage the media mess . I am sure they can hire a PR agency who will be handling the press side of the marriage and in such a way that Sippy's are not effected be very much

By allowing or managing media all such things like the conflict he had on streets could have been managed

As a business family they'll actually profit from publicity but what we see here is that Naren is prejudiced .and he is being blinded by prejudice ...

4th point is the most important reason. Sippys may be rich but they are not as popular as Sonakshi. If before being associated with Sonakshi, Naren's affair's secret had been out, it had been mostly remained as a private affair.Neither media nor common people had been interested in Naren's extra marital affair. But now both media and general public will definitely be interested in private matters of Sonakshi's in laws. That is why Naren doesn't want any relationship with Sonakshi as he sees it as a huge risk for him in future.

Yes Sippys are not popular and some of them prefer it that way. Naren's secret is one of the many concerns he might have. At this point he does not want his family to be dragged by the media and I absolutely agree and support that. But not his way of doing things.

No inconsistency. Naren was shown to be ok with Sona (though never doting over her like Veena). Then her arrest in the Mhatre case happened & he saw the kind of bad press resulting fm her being a celeb. That turned him against an actress bahu (not against Sona, he has never been shown to hv any personal hatred for Sona). Rohan is another such hypocrite

If DS or Veena had raised those concerns abt a celeb bahu I wld be qt sympathetic.

@bold - ditto! How many times was the Sippy family dragged into news coz of Sona? First during the hospital inauguration, then during Janmashtami, now during the wedding as he rightly put forth its become a circus. He is a hypocrite for sure. But here he is not pointing out somebody's mistake by hiding his own. He is highlighting what could potentially become an issue. He never raised a finger on Sona's character. But given his dislike for her profession he is finding excuses to call out on her like he did when the ring was lost.

OMG 😲 Y r u saying sorry dear? No no! I didn feel bad at all. I just made my stand clear when I said I don't like Naren 😊 His concerns are valid which is why I made this post but I also agree his way of addressing it is wrong on many levels. But then again whom can he talk to? The moment he starts saying anything his mom and wife try to suppress him. Even they are not making an attempt to understand his real concern. His son will never hear him out. Everyone is so happy seeing Rohit happy that they are not realising what consequences they will face if this marriage happens. In fact both Rohit and Sona need to think this through and come to an understanding so that when these issues surface they will be in a position to handle it. Yes its fiction dear and hence the debate of what could or could not have happened 😆 Naren's character is sloppily written. Maybe the writer was high on somras when they outlined his character graph 🤣

ok sonakshi is a celebrity. so naren fears that his dark truth might come out due to constant media attention. he dosent want sippys to be in the limelight always. Leave the fact that after so long his son has found love and he wants to sabotage it, but what about pooja? Isnt she a model. She has done ad shoots she will be on the path to become an actress in future or a top model. she will be famous too. Even then the sippys will come under spotlight. And pooja becoming famous herself has more chances of her adoption truth coming out in open. will naren ask her to stop her career and not be famous.

He is a brat spoiled by his wife nothing else.

@bold - Ankita even I tried to think y he is doing that. See trouble with it is again his family. Whenever he expressed a concern both his mom and wife shut him up. His mom felt that she had not raised him to think like this and his wife cannot see beyond their son's happiness. And his son? He cannot see eye to eye with him. Even when he spoke to Rohit he did acknowledge that Sona is a hard working girl but the concerns he expressed were very real. Initially after seeing that episode I was cursing Naren but later when I thought about it, I felt he wasn't entirely wrong. Media has turned his home into a circus. He at least needs to get Veena to talk to Rohit about this so that this matter can be addressed. Instead he is trying to get Sona sign a prenup with the hope that the wedding be called off.

About him being rough with media I won't blame him. He had an emergency at the hospital and media can be such a pain. They refused to even give him space to step out of the car. I would have been mad as well.

@blue - this could have been a solution had everyone made an attempt to discuss this issue and resolve. They should have sat down and reached a conclusion like mature adults.

@bold : and moreover he was actually right - Sona shd hv anticipated traffic etc & made more effort to be punctual. Its grt that she is dedicated to her job, but not at the cost of making the guests wait for hours. Why shd they waste their time for her to keep her dedication to her job? It irritates me when people throw others into the fire for their own sense of duty. And true, koi kaam chota nahin hota but she wasn’t saving lives, for god’s sake!

As for the ring - wasnt that lost because of Sona’s sister’s callousness? How stupid of Suman to entrust it to her flighty daughter! Imagine u go to a sagai function & find the bride’s family has lost the ring - what impression will u form abt them?

@bold - I had already highlighted this point myself when I replied to one of the posts here. Yes Pooja is on the path to become a celebrity but she is not there yet. One wardrobe malfunction and they freaked out like the sky had fallen on them. That is the most common issue people face in glamour industry and Sona has seen worse. This is what u understand from that episode when Sona tells Rohit about her past when they were stuck in that ice truck. They haven't had a chance of understanding the implications of stardom. Sonakshi is a star and anything she does or says will be all over the place amplified hundred fold. Pooja is a struggler. No one will give Pooja any attention yet. For them she is just a wannabe from a rich household and lucky for Pooja because of her surname no one will try to take advantage of her like they with Sona. So its not fair to draw parallels yet.

Naren is wrong I agree and the way he is trying to go about this issue is also wrong but his concerns are valid.

And why hasn't anyone really sat down with Pari and asked her about how she lost the ring ... Kisi ko parvah nahi ab us ring ki ? How it was lost from Sippy mansion came to KPK set ..

Actually if someone just sat down and joined the dots they would immediately understand that the light man is the stalker .

He is the only one present in both days in both places simple

And if someone asked Pari about it in relaxed manner the inconsistencies of her lies will raise all kinds of red flags ... She was with Rohan ...when the ring was lost what was she doing

Yahan sirf Naren ke character mein nahi ab story mein bhi inconsistency aa gayi hai

I think seeing Sonakshi's state Pari should have been warned and feeling guilty

And secondly both Rohan and Pari must be aware that atleast Stalker has seen them together and him being caught may also release their secrets

@bold - Agree there. Not to belittle Sona's profession but she is not dealing with a life and death scenario here. You can re-prioritize if u want to. But the medical profession doesn't work that way. One min's delay can have a severe impact. As for Naren bursting out like that, a lot of things had gone wrong that day. His guests waited for a very long time and Sona lands up and performs on a vulgar dance number. Agreed she did it for Rohit but the choice of song was horrible given the event and the kind of guests Sippy family had. Everyone expects the Sippys to be broadminded to accept Sonakshi but shouldn't Sonakshi make an attempt to understand her would be family and their lifestyle? She does not have to change herself to please them but keeping certain likes and dislikes of theirs in her mind won't harm exactly.
